I also got a different ring after proposing. Marc initially wanted me to pick my own setting so he found a jeweler that allowed him to pick the diamond and she put it in a simple white gold setting. Then after the proposal, we went back down there to pick the setting. I printed a couple things online and she replicated it (with a few changes) for me. So really, I got a whole new ring after the proposal too. I like Jen's idea to find your diamond first, then pick the setting. Get exactly what you want.

Great review Nicole. Good constriuctive criticism. And Juan, it is very important to take responsilbity for your actions and you did, which is very appreciated and definitely worth it's weight!! I was one of the first DWF weddings for Juan before he was super busy and began overbooking, and my pictures took 5 weeks. So, when he is not overbooking, his timelines are accurate and on par to most wedding photographers. Sounds like he fixed that problem for 08, so don't lose faith in Juan! His photos and attention to detail are one of a kind.
