  1. I carried mine on. We flew Mexicana and they hung it up for us in First Class. I'm not going to lie, it was a pain lugging everything down there and going through all the cusatoms lines with luggage, my giant garment bag, etc. But I wasn't going to let that dress out of my sight! Mariana (Dreams, Los Cabos) snatched it up for me as soon as we arrived and had it pressed. They did a great Job! The pressed my husband's suit too, n/c. A little interesting fact: We flew Mexicana on the way there and American on the way back. Well Mexiciana allows up to 70 lbs for checked luggage! My bag was over 60 lbs! But, American (an most other domestic Airlines only allow only 50 lbs limit for checked luggage. I assumed it was an "across the board" weight limit, but it is not. You may want to inquire with different airlines before you pack.

I did personalized paper bags with tissue paper that said welcome to our wedding weekend. I included personalized cocoa and coffee packets, lip balm, Mini sunscreens sunscreen packet, Advil, a Welcome Letter, and a Custom Koozie. I did not do favors at the reception.

Both are great months! maybe a little less chance of rain in November and the evenings aren't as chilly. Let us know any questions you have? Welcome!!
  5. WOW? Gorgeous pictures!!! What a beautiful spot!

Thanks!!! Hi there, Welcome! My budget WAS 13K for 60 people. We ended up paying 19K for 60 people. This includes rings, dress, honeymoon....EVERYTHING wedding... We got married at Dreams. Having it at an AI really saved us money. Our group are BIG drinkers nad they all got their money's worth!
  7. I did bridesmaid dresses only because I had 5 girls and a junior BM. All of my BM's had different body types, a couple of them were pretty heavy-chested. So Empire-wasted dresses were out. And my Junior BM would have been devastated to not match the other girls. An official BM dress was just the best option for us! If you don't have any issues like that, then definitely go for a summer-type dress.
  8. Yeah...those are really nice! Hmmmmm.... this stinks. I guess I better start saving! Thanks!!
  9. Hmmmm. I am interested in the digital albums (is that what it is called? Where the images are printed direstly on the page? I understand what you mean. Unfortunatley I don't have a ton of money to spend. Can I get one of these done for around $200 - $250? I have a feeling thay are probably double or triple that. Tammy, how is the quality of your album from SharedInk?
  10. Jonathan, What do you mean by "they won't hold up?" Meaning the colors will fade? Pages will tear??
  11. This sucks. SharedInk seems great, but why is 11"x8" the biggest size they offer?? I may take the photos Juan is sending me and just put them in a nice album and be done with it. I'm surprised there aren't more companies like this out there
  12. Hi Ladies, I wanted to share this website I found. You can create your own wedding album or other photo book? It looks like you can order bigger sizes than what SharedInk offers. I'm going to do a little more research on quality. Anyone heard of these guys? Picaboo

Since starting bootcamp after Thanksgiving I am down 5lbs. The next time I will check my stats will be in 6 weeks at the end of this session and right before we head to Cabo for our final site vistit - talk about motivation to look and feel great - I will surely be in a swimsuit in Cabo right? Right On Sarah!! I miss having that wedding motivation! I just ate a cheeseburger!!! I am hung over.

This is exhausting and I've only been to one place. I have another appointment on the 20th so I'm going to try to relax until then. Whew, I needed the vent. Hey Kate, What I ended up with is completely different that what I thought I wanted. I did not want a strapless dress, everyone wears strapless dresses. Of course, when I tried on my strapless, i fell in love and that was it. I think most of the time brides don't end up getting styles they think they want... If you like that dress. Just think about it and go try it on again in a week or two. Don't impulse buy ...
  16. I was torn between the Mesh and Halter but voted forthe Mesh. It has the beach look, but still dressy enough for a wedding. The satin ones are pretty, but a tad more formal. Depends how formal you want them to look?

What gorgeous grounds at the Pamilla!!!
  18. Oh thank you so much for sharing ann! I have been so curious what Las Caletas looked like. BEAUTIFUL! I love all the greenery and trees! Is that the photographer you hired?
  19. Karla!?!? Wow! Beautiful photos! I loved the shots of the location/ SOO beautiful and private. You looked so gorgeous by the way. I just LOVE your dress! You and your husband looks so in love. The photographer did a great job capturing that.
  20. DJ Ricardo. Booked thru Maye, So I don't have contact info. He was really good and I highly recommend them!
  21. Welcome Jay! Where are you two getting married?
  22. I think is is a really busy spot for a wedding. However, there was a wedding every day that I was there on my honeymoon. We met a couple in our shuttle on the way home who had just gotten married at RPR. They loved it. She said they were very accommodating and were great to work with. Our room overlooked the wedding gazebo. It is situated in a quieter part of the resrot, but still a little busy, people were walking by periodically. But still really pretty, but just not really private. It just depends what you want. I wish I had taken a better picture. I 'm sorry...this is all I got. It was dark by the time I took the pic! This was a huge wedding (around 200). For smaller weddings they set up the guest chairs inside the gazebo. I think it holds 20 or 30 chairs inside.
