Believe it or not a 1/2 pound is perfect! And here's why,
"The National Institute of Health (NIH) guidelines advice setting weight loss targets of no more than 10% of body weight every 6 months. For most people, that means losing less than a pound per week.
NIH experts also believe that a slow and gradual weight loss approach is not only safer, but also more likely to lead to long-term weight loss.
When it comes to weight loss, slow and steady definitely seems to be the best way to win the weight loss race."
AND there's this girl in my WW meeting who has lost over 100 pounds (I think she's at like 107 or something). Anyway they calculated what that meant only weekly weight loss and it came out to 0.75 lbs. a week. And now she's almost at her goal weight!
