    We were in a swim up and we loved it. It was quite private because the premium section does not get much foot traffic from the rest of the resort. I guess you have to decide what you want for your wedding trip. If you love to swim ad think you just want to chill in front of your room, it is perfect for that. If you want to hang out with your friends at the main pool or beach you might not get as much out of it. Also, they will not allow a bunch of your friends come to your pool and hang out that are not premium section guests. I saw one bride do this and her guests got kicked out by security. Also, note, the premium sections are much quieter than the rest of the resort. If you have a loud, partier group, the adults section is great for that because it has a DJ, other adults, etc.

    Hi Anita, It is still the same promo and has not been edited. We have had a few weddings with this promo and they are all the same. You should refer to your contract that you signed.

    The Am Resorts book 5 rooms get the 6th room free is called the 3G promo and you usually have to have some sort of group block contract in place before people start booking to get the free room. So it is not like your guests can just book their rooms anyway they want and then you compile that booking list for a free room because it is not actually a free room but a credit that goes back to the group leader. Also, there are blackout dates when the promo is not available.

I compared the rates you were quoted to another Moon Palace wedding we have in November and our rates are quite a bit lower. Regarding group blocks and amenities: you only get them on bookings made through the group block. Expedia, orbitz bookings will not count towards your group amenities. In fact, even if you book a wedding at a palace resort and qualify for free group amenities like a cocktail hour, etc. your guests that did not book through the group block would have to pay to attend your events. The free events are only FREE for your guests that have booked via the group block contract.     Hey BDW Besties, I just found out that Yarai Peregrino (she used to be the WC for Dreams Los Cabos) has gone off and started her own company, Memories Weddings and Events. Not only has she helped my clients and friends with their weddings but if you do a search for "Yarai" on BDW, you will find a ton of great reviews. Yarai is sweet, hardworking and honest and I can 100% recommend her. I recommended her to one of my best friends and their wedding was just amazing.
