Destinationweddings.com says that they offer both the Bride/Groom and all their guests payment plans so that when they book they don't have to pay for the travel up front in one lump sum. I think that may be real helpful for a good number of my guests. The down side to them would be that they are not based directly in Cabo, and I haven't heard of any of the girls on this site using them, although I do have a friend that used them and was pleased with their work. Jackie jackie, 1- destination weddings has horrible reviews and lots of unhappy brides 2-most of the time you just have to put a deposit(can be as low as $100 per person) and don't have to pay until 60 days prior to wedding. 3-there are lots of riu brides that are getting married 2007 so i am sure all of you guys can be helpful towards each other. stephanie (raenjay) is one of them. 4- you will see when you are trying to get prices that all the cabo brides on here will be such a resource to you whether they are hilton brides or riu brides.

I am interested to know where you have stayed in Vegas and the dirt on your stay. I have stayed at: Mandalay: fun, the pool is waaayyy too crowded. Bellagio: nice but full of old men with hookers Wynn: nice, the cabanas are great...steve sanders from 90210 hit on me...also, they have the most comfortable beds. Venetian: one of my favorites Paris: i love the casino...great shopping Hardrock: super fun but too real world age people for me and i don't win at the casino Caesars: don't remeber much there is this one place i stayed for a gf's bachelorette party...it was super stinky and disgusting...and everyone that stayed there looked like they wrestled for WWF (now WWE) wrestling...they all had mullets...men and women. i can't remember the name. i think i blocked it out.

i am sure people are interested in what other grooms are wearing. Please post your groom's and GM's attire. Also, tell us where you bought it. Please insert the pic into the post (go to the link under the smilie box instead of attaching the file. If you don't know how to do this, it is pretty easy and there are instructions under the "how to navagate forum" section. _______________________________________________ Carly here, I am going to work on cleaning up this thread and remove all photos that are no longer valid and replace any links and attachments with photos in the members posting. If you notice that your photos have been deleted, feel free to repost or send me the photos and I'll add back to the original posting. _______________________________________________

I am also getting Microderm Abrasion and an Acne Facial every 4 weeks. By the way- had my first microderm abrasion today- if anyone has never had that done, your skin looks and feels so nice afterwards, I thought it was definitely worth the $$. Then, once that is under control, we're going to either do Laser, Obagi, or some combo, we'll see....Thanks for the tip! sarah, if you can, push your DR to derm obagi, laser early january...it takes min 16 weeks for obagi to go through all the cycles AND you will need 4-6 laser treatments and those have to be spaced 3 weeks apart... so your face is ready and recovered for your wedding...you want to get off retin a week before going to mexico

That will give you peace of mind while still allowing you and your FI to feel as if you were officially married in Cabo. Maye's fee isn't any different if you are/aren't married there so that doesn't matter. You could even get married before you leave if you want (Tammy - didn't you do that and still totally felt like Cabo was your real wedding day?). i did get married before...and i was super bummed because steve didnt cry at the legal ceremony...i thought maybe i was marrying the wrong guy...but then at our cabo ceremony he bawled like a baby...the legal one took 15 mins and was super easy

Where is it? playacar palace is small and truthfully i dont think they are very equipped to do weddings...maybe royal hideaway playacar...or secrets is always a good choice (same family as dreams)

Corset top for wedding dress?
TammyWright replied to TammyB's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
i agree with kash...have the seamstress build it into the dress...if you position the pads correctly you will get alot of oomph. -

Also, I have heard many good things about both Dreams and the Riu resorts, If anyone has any reason why they picked one over the other I would love to hear from you. Thanks so much, Jackie at dreams, they have a really private terrace next to the oceana pool that would be a beautiful spot for a wedding BUT they also have a fabulous gazebo so that is more commonly used...have beautiful view of the water but no sandy feet...i posted a million pics so look around, i am sure you will find them (in cabo accomodations section "dreams wedding pics" and "tammys dreams pics")
