Hi MBK, Welcome to BDW! Ann is right, we do have a Beach Palace, Moon Palace and Azul Sensatori wedding Webinars coming up: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/75809-destination-wedding-webinars-schedule-2014/ If swimming in the ocean is very important to you, beach palace has an amazing beach and crystal clear water but it is a much smaller resort.

@jnellerose: have you heard from the resort? I sent this thread to the Director of Sales who runs the wedding department and she is very concerned. We are trying to schedule a time to discuss for all of the brides.

You can have a vow renewal at most of the resorts. Some even have a free wedding is you book so many nights in a certain room category. We have a few PC specialists on here if you want to contact them and ask questions.

yes, they are trying to finalize who from each resort is going to be hosting the webinar. I am anxiously waiting as well

I think it is a great idea to use a travel agent that specializes in destination weddings. We can offer perks that the online agencies do not have. An example is for Dreams Palm Beach, the resort offers a group amenity of book 5 rooms, get the 6th free. You would not have access to that by booking online. TA Patty & TA Kristen are 2 agents that speacilize in Dreams Palm Beach. You can read some of their reviews here.

Teresa knows the WC and management so with her involved I am sure it will get resolved quickly. I know a few of their longtime WCs (mariana, yarai, yesica) left so they are struggling to train new people. That being said, I got married at Dreams Los Cabos and my WC quite right before my wedding and a new WC filled in and I was freaking out because I thought I would have to start new, they would not know what I wanted, etc. but the new WC (mariana) ended up doing a fantastic job. They do know what they are doing, just slow on response. Also, for October you have plenty of time. are there any questions that I might be able to help with?

I love seeing engagement pics but we didn't do them. I am not sure we would have done anything with them if we had. I also wanted to add, I do not like getting pictures taken or have them up (hence the cat pictures) so I may not be the best person to ask
