you can email me at [email protected] i need to know what dates you want to stay at dreams to make the site visit. i will email mariana's contact to you as well. He wants to go to Todos Santos / La Paz as well to surf, so we'll just somehow fit it all in. It would be GREAT if we could actually stay at Dreams for a few days to really get a feel for the resort and decide where we want to hold diff events!! How do I go about finding out if they have room for us any nights btwn 12/28-1/5?? Previously i have emailed with Yesica only, I've never been in contact with Mariana. Should I get in touch with her? Can you send me her info? thanks!

hey jen, i answered in red: Quote: Originally Posted by jpkw Hello - we have officially decided on Dreams (much thanks to Tammy host)!! We're getting married on June 3rd 2007. I still can't believe we actually have a date! We're going to Cabo for our site visit over New Yrs but I haven't organized anything yet for that visit! I was going to use Blanca as a coordinator but it sometimes takes a while for her to respond. Should I have her coordinate all of our vendor meetings during our site visit, or should I do it? There is so much info on this forum, I kind of have an idea of who we should meet with. bedore you commit to a coord, you may want to see how it goes with using mariana...you may not need one or just might need a day of coord. Also, how did you girls contact Juan? I keep reading the rave reviews and want to see if he is available on 6/3. you can email him but he is also on the forum alot...he was on last night and this morning... [email protected] just a heads up, his prices have gotten higher I will take TONS of pics when we are down there and post a review afterwards. Does anyone need me to do anything for them in Cabo? I'll be there 12/28-1/5 (with a trip to Todo Santos & La Paz as well if we can fit it in). dreams will give you a few days free at their resort if there is availibilty BUT that time is very busy so there may not be availibilty. do you already have arrangements made? Do most Dreams brides do everything at Dreams (welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner...)? We want to do our wedding on the beach and will def have our reception there but I wasn't sure if we should go off site one of the nights for a welcome thing or our rehearsal dinner... Also, did anyone plan any daily activities for your guests? We may have ~80 people! i did everything at dreams because there are enough locations on the resort so that it can feel like different types of events...like a did a more causal mexican/caribbean bbq buffet for my welcome dinner...it was really fun. you might as well take full advantage of AI...if you plan something off-site you will spend alot of $$ on food BUT also alot of $$ on transportation. One other thing - I LOVE the lantern idea (rebecca)... maybe some of us could share since most of us are getting married in May/June...? Jen

ok, here are mine: i swear by obagi skin products w/retin a...my skin looked flawless for my wedding...i am off it now because trying to get pregnant but i can't wait until i can use it again....i have having these horrible hormonaloutbreaks and it was sucha lifesaver...random people would comment about my skin. IPL in conjunction w/dermabrasion to get rid of old acne scars. jan marini eyelash thickener/legnthener` i used to have scrawny eyelashes...no more. i don't even wear mascara anymore and when i do for going out, it looks like i have fake eyelashes (my dh and sister thought they were fake) citylips lip plumper~it worked for me...they plump over time (about 3 weeks)...i have some progression pics i should post...

Not that I have such a cool job as yourself but I am going to aim to pick up at least 1 extra shift per week that all money earned will go directly into my wedding savings! After school is over. i think you sister is old enough to buy her own lunch ...at 17 i was paying for everything myself...i moved out of my house when iw as 15. -

I was just wondering what everyone did to save money for their wedding or trim their budget. I think this would be interesting what small things helped. no more $4 starbucks daily (sometimes twice daily)..this helped my wallet and my fat starbucks, sitting at a computer all day fat ass. went out to lunch once a week only. other days i brought lunch (usually lean cuisine that i bought for a dollar) went out to dinner only once a week...other nights i cooked or we would eat leftovers.. NO SHOPPING except for wedding stuff i am sure more will pop up.

Its sooo much cheaper than a shuttle because a cab ride would be 10 bucks TOPS for like 4 people instead of 12 bucks for each person i think that is a great idea...
