We are going to do this combined with a cigar rolling station for something a little different! taryn, there is a cigar roller that is a member of the forum...he goes to parties and has a pretty good website...do a search for cigars or something...one thing...a bride had him at her wedding and said he was really friendly and great BUT nobody used him because they were too busy with the wedding...it may be the case for you...maybe do the cigar/tequilla party for a welcome event or something.

Puerto Vallarta Weather Puerto Vallarta sits on the Costa Dorada of Mexico, at the mid-point of Banderas Bay, where the Pacific Ocean washes the border between Jalisco and Nayarit. Located on the same latitude as the Hawaiian Islands (20 degrees north), its sub-tropical climate is often compared to Hawaii's. more information>> Winter - (December 22 - March 21) Spring - (March 22 - June 21) Summer - (June 22- September 21) Autumn - (September 22 - December 21) Puerto Vallarta (as is Nuevo Vallarta) is surrounded by jungle, and receives considerable rain. The rainy season is June to September, rainiest in September. December and January, the peak tourist season, are hot and sunny. Weather in Spring and Autumn includes moderate temperatures. While the rain can spoil a day at the beach, the storms can be quite beautiful, with rain seeming to march across the hills and lightning illuminating the sky. Runoff from the rains can turn the seawater brown in some areas, detracting somewhat from the beauty of the beaches and sea. Temperatures reach 90 degrees F (32 C) during the summer, and the humidity can add to the perception of heat. During the winter, weather changes significantly and temperatures are in the low to mid 80's F (28-30 C), quite comfortable for a stroll on the beach. Nighttime temperatures in Puerto and Nuevo Vallarta range from the 60's to the mid 70's (19-24 C).

How to start looking??
TammyWright replied to -Kate-'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
kate, start by looking at bridal mags to see what dresses you like...then start going to shops or if their is a desginer you like, see when they are having a trunk show or fashion show in your area. i did this at saks and neimans...i was able to see the vera wang, carolina herrera, and monique lhuillier shows. if you see a dress you fancy and you try it on and it looks great on you, ou have time to find it cheaper etc...that is what i did...i tried on my dress in sept. but did not buy it until february because i wanted to see if it was the right dress for me and to see if i could find it cheaper (and i did). -
welcome to the forum fotogal! and thanks for introducing yourself...we look forward to any information you can share... plese also post a thread in the PV vendors section with your business name in the header and some information about yourself and any info you want to share...

no, she didn'tbuy it off ebay...she bought it from a wedding dress maker in san francisco and spent almost $3000 for the dress and sash...it was the one like your but with the strapless neckline. i thought her dress was beautiful but she just said it didnt feel right after she wore the real one... That way I can see all the materials and approve them ahead of time (maybe). Seriously - I appreciate your honet opinion! Thye last thing I want to do is buy a bad dress - wait 2 months to get it and then have it arrive and hate it and then not have time to find a great dress!

hi janet, i'd love to see photos...the quality really fluctuates with each photobook. i had read some not great reviews on mypublisher (i actually had the software downloaded and my book halway done but scrapped it). Quote: Originally Posted by JANET1111 So I made a book in iPhoto, uploaded it to MyPublisher, and ordered it for 50% off (woo hoo!) and it just came today (only a 2-day turnaround - impressive!). My initial thoughts: Perhaps I had really high expectations, but I think the book is good, but not great. I don't think it will be my ultimate wedding album. But it will be great to have around to show people. Being able to do all the work in iPhoto was the best part. I don't know what the MyPublisher bookmaker software is like though (I don't have a PC). The parts I don't love: The photos are a tad darker than they appear on the screen. If I order more, I will lighten in photoshop first. The pics near the binding get cut off by the binding a little. Don't put anything really important right in the crease. The paper is a little thinner than ideal, at least for a fabulous album. The size overall just seems a little small to me. I think I want something bigger than 8.5x11. (You can do bigger with regular MyPublisher, but not with iPhoto/MyPublisher, unfortunately.) I'll take some photos of the book when I get home to try to show you all some of these things.

Hey girls, I uploaded a new style to the forum. It makes the forum pinkier and more destination wedding-ish. it is kind of bright and festive like DWs. To change your style: 1. Go to your "UserCP" 2. sroll down to the bottom until you get to this 3. "girltalk" is the yellow-ish style and "chianta" is the new pinkish/coral one... Let me know what you think!!

you know...riu might be a great choice for you! you can have your wedding at palace riviera maya...it is the most expensive of the riu's there but if you have friends that can't afford it, they can do playacar or yucatan...riu's are a fun choice but the palace is nice enough for your older guests.
