I requested Bajaweddings.com for some info...just not sure if they will be worth it. the days book quickly at dreams...i think most of the gals here have the sats. what about a friday or sunday? legal or symbolic ceremony? i usually just work with mariana....also, she is very good so you may not need an outside WC depending on how large and elaborate of an event you want...

hi shannon, natasha just got married there and posted some pics... here is her review: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1838 the info i have...it is a beautiful resort, the hotel can be a PITA to work with, they are not that nice to the people staying in timeshare/condos...they do not have the same access to hotel facilities.

Timeshare: Dreams Los Cabos=Club Casa Dorada Beach and Golf
TammyWright replied to JPMO's topic in Cabo Accommodation & Site
i knew it had a timeshare program but did not know it included AI...this is great! their timeshare people are not as aggressive as other resorts i visited. FYI, for those interested in timeshares it is a safer bet to purchase one in US (ie. RCI) than while in mexico because their laws are diff. and there is not much recourse if you get screwed. -

She also told me that the inside ballroom has no limit of time. For those of you who are getting married/got married at Dreams did you like La Cascada Terrace or the Oceana Terrace better? -Glenda glenda, i had my private welcome dinner at oceana terrace on friday and my reception at cascade terrace. they were BOTH wonderful spots to get married. i posted pics of both spots. rebecca used oceana for her reception and the pics looked gorgeous. just depends on what you are looking for. i never considered having my reception indoors because it just cabo is so beautiful, to have an outdoor ceremony/reception is such a plus to me. the only place i thought of was indoor/outdoor (portofino) for the welcome dinner.

I am planning a wedding for the summer of 2008, so I guess I am not top priority, but I still feel i should be regardless. ugg E mail: [email protected]. Thanks shanaynay, i posted the pics...they are in jackie's first post...

So practical...luv it! well, the $$ you save on the one reception you can use for a fabulous welcome dinner...or fireworks for your reception...cabo is so beautiful you need little else to make it a memorable wedding.

Thanks! is there anyway to have her stay part of the time there and part of the time at dreams? -
welcome to the forum...jackie our RM/cancun mod is thinking of getting married at one of the occidental resorts (gran xcaret) and said the WC was very responsive. when did you email/call them? it is the holiday season so it may take longer than normal to hear back from them.

hi wendy, welcome to the forum...there are quite a few dreams brides on here...i am one myself regarding your question about hosting a reception elsewhere...i think one of the main reasons to get married at dreams is because they have beautiful ceremony/reception spots and it is such a good deal...$22 per person for a buffet or 3 course meal and open bar...you can't beat that! i posted a ton of pics so let me know if i can help in any way.

Plaza Las Glorias in Puerto Vallarta
TammyWright replied to LCBride2007's topic in Puerto Vallarta Accommodations & Site
hey ann, just saw this post...this resort changed ownership and names and is now Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort. it has ok reviews...how close are you to your mom? if you are close you may want her to stay at the resort with you. -

In this room you can party till 1am/2am. is this portofino? i know they can close it and play music...i went all around and did not see the banquet room.

One more big one NYE and then I'm back to the gym!! me too...i have gained weight as well but i am ok with it because TTC, it is healthier to have more fat.

Also, is your reception outside on the beach or in some other area? I read that they do a couple of weddings a day. I'm wondering how they manage that if most brides want a sunset wedding? -Glenda Glenda, if you have trouble getting info, let us know...we have so many dreams brides on here and i work so closely with their WC's that we can pretty much answer your questions. $22 per person is for set up and a private event. this inlcudes either a buffet or 3 course meal and is an open bar. it is a fantastic deal. there are a few different outdoor reception spots. Beach cascade terrace oceana terrace portofino (indoor/outdoor and for smaller groups only) For the ceremony, they do 1-2 weddings a day. If you have a larger wedding you most likely will be the only wedding...they may have 2 smaller weddings on one day but when they do this, the weddings are at different part of the resort so they do not bump into each other
