Also, we were very interested in Kauai, but were concerned about rain. We like Grand Hyatt, which is on the south side of the island. Do you have any experience with weddings at this site? Have any been in the winter? Finally, as a travel agent, have you booked group rates for airlines and condos for Hawaiian destination weddings? Thanks. Ed the dates you posted in the first post are PRIME holiday dates so it would not be advantageous of condo owners to break those dates up because they know they could probably rent them for at least a week at a time. it is not impossible to find a condo for less than 2 weeks during the holiday season but be prepared to pay a lot for this luxury and also know that you may not get the condos you want. if it were me, i would NOT plan a large Destination wedding in hawaii at this time of year. not only is lodging expensive and hard to find BUT airfare is high....just my 2 cents regariding kauai...it is wetter in the winer but the rains are pretty scattered throughout the day (not all day long). the south does get less rain than the north.

  19. sharedink is actually moving away from selling retail to non proffesionals. 90% of their business is pro photogs. my book is fantastic. i have taken it to work and it was passed around for days before i got it back...who knows how many people looked at it. the binding is neat and clean. when i went searching for reviews, theu continued to come on top. i think some of jonathan's books are probably amazing as well but, like he said, probably not available retail.
  20. hi rebecca, when i was first researching photobooks, i found them but read reveiws and the quality wasnt great. shutterfly is better than picaboo.
