  2. hi jennetta, we already have the thread started here: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t933

  4. here's mine: and me in it, looking a little shorter and dumpier:

  7. "sarah" is a spammer and has been banned from the forum...her name was actually jenherk
  8. i had a single greenish-pink orchid that matched my bouquet.

  11. i had to go over marilu's head and email the GM and sales manager. she got back t me right away after that. i told her getting back to me was not enough and i needed her to be more complete with her answers. i think things my get better....at least for me.
  12. most of the members who are on this forum and getting married at EDR are bringing their own photographer... Julie's wedding is in May and she is using Elizabeth Medina. Leigh Miller has done a GORGEOUS wedding there. Both ladies are members of the forum. good luck!
  13. i brought my ipod, cd, and hired a dj...just to be safe.
  14. dreams is definitely more quiet than riu and we had quite a few partiers in our group. my sister was voted biggest partier at UC santa barbara if that gives you an idea. the resort gets quiet around 11pm but the bar is still open...also those that wanted to really party just jumped into a cab and went dancing... riu def. has a bigger party scene...i guess you just have to figure what is more important for you and your group.
  15. i have photoshop and taught myself how to use it...the bst thing to do is google Photoshop tutorials and they will have a bunch of lessons on how to do stuff.

But, they are truly breathtaking and a once in a lifetime opportunity. You should totally do it- you know, Leigh lives in Cali! lol i've thought about having leigh take some maternity pics...we'll see how cow-ish i look....maybe this will motivate me to get back into shape faster to take some boudoir pics...i always wanted to but never had someone that i felt comfy with take them

  20. Danielle, congratulations!! everything looked so wonderful...i can't believe scott parson's did not show up! did he have an explanation?
  21. dreams is great because they are a true AI...no wristbands...no reservations...food ALL-DAY long...even when you don't order it...they even had afternoon tea with all these mini pastries/cakes out... it was awesome! chips, guac and salsa all day long...then we had poker parties and would order hamburgers/tacos/cheesecakes in the middle of the night...so awesome!
  22. i had menus printed and placed on the each setting allowing the guests to choose... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t689 they turned out really nice and i ordered them like a week before i left. i don't have a pic of the menu but here is the pic of the table number
