  1. this is kind of funny but true to forum etiquette. Flash » Posting And You...
  2. it can get pretty hot during the day...the sun can be scorching!
  3. what about brining your own officant down...that is what we did...so it can be a ceremony with jewish undertones and traditions.
  4. i think for resorts, the further you book them the better rate you get unless their is a promotion...but even if there is a promo it will only be a little less than the cheapest rate when booked far in advance...the closer the resort fills to capacity, the higher the rate will be and the rate increase can be huge (a $350 for $600). but this conflicts with booking the lowest airfare...i think, with the exception of holiday weekends, that you will see good rates around 4 months prior to departure...sometimes even 2-3 weeks prior to departure but you have to have a real iron stomach to do this for your wedding (unless you are flying out of a LAX to cabo where there are a bunch of flights). hope this helps. tammy

She's like "dillhole, I was born and raised in Ohio." awww...that makes me sooo mad! your poor friend. i even had someone tell me that my english was so bad they couldnt understand me....if you have ever talked to me on the phone, i have no accent whatsoever.
  6. ok, here it goes: 1. i was a prodigy violinist when i was 6 2. when i was 7 i gave a speech to the state senate about childcare for all (esp. single mothers) and met a bunch of politicians. 3. i have a genius level IQ but can't remember what day it is sometimes. 4. I was a cheerleader in highschool but once this "wigger" attacked me and i beat the crap out of her so my nickname in highschool was "Tyson". 5. i worked at Deja Vu strip club for 1 day as a cocktail waittress but quit after they tried to make me dance for "amatuer night". i am not a sexy dancer....i knew doing the running man naked was not going to get me alot of $$ in tips so i ran off crying and quit. 6. my dh and i met on match.com 7. i love my cats more than i should and would hurt someone that did anything to them.

  8. unfortunately, racism is still in america...i was acutally told i was not allowed to golf at a course in bakersfield (the armpit of california) because it was a "private club"...but my bf at the time golfed there everyday with no problem until he brought me. umm,...ok, like i really want to golf at your shitty course i was just looking to kill time while i had to stay in your shitty town because of a business trip.
  9. what about cabo wedding coordinators AKA lovely weddings. Tasha is using them and has been really happy with their prices and juan carlos highly recommends them. also they are members of the forum.
  10. beautiful pics julie...we have a few GP brides on here that would love yoru help!
  11. i wouldnt fly with them or put a client on one of their flights. they do not have contracts with airports so they have to sort of "buy" landing times from other airlines like delta, etc...they get the very last priority so you will see their airplanes taxing for 4 hours just waiting to take off or land. also, they are now charging to check in baggage. we were just discussing this on a travel agents forum i am on.
  12. when the message vomes on it is usually only for a few minutes, then everything is normal again...we have a big forum with alot of peopel doing searches, PM-ing, playing arcade, posting, chatting etc. so it takes alot of server resources. i want to upgrade but ann is right i am fearful of losing information and also moving the forum to another server that has the same or worse problems... uhhh, i have a tummy ache now just thinking about it.
  13. mmmm....did i tell you i was crashing your wedding? just kidding but i will be lurking!

I don't know if it what route will be cheaper and I don't know how many I'll need. kate, can you bring stuff down on your site visit and have mariana hold them for you so it is less to bring before the wedding?
  15. hi brenda, i totally stalked sunscreen off ebay...it was so fun...my DH thought i was insane because i would jump around the house screaming "I WON!" he thought i won the lottery or something but i was like "no, i just won 20 bottles of sunscreen". i miss those days. also, try not to get the jumbo sizes because they are just too humongous but if i did get stuck with those bigs ones, i would just give them to a family.
  16. jill, those pics are wonderful!! has lenita seen them yet! what a reaction!?

  20. i priced out the flower shop and some other florists and they were significantly higher than anyone else for what i wanted (orchids)...so i had my wc get them through a florist that only speaks spanish. they were alot cheaper and were beautiful.
  21. juan is really great...you will really like working with him...also, then we can bully him to get your pictures done faster... that is great!
  22. cabo is in the dessert so even when it does rain, it is short. dreams does have an indoor reception room but it is not so pretty...you may want to consider pushing the date back to lessen the chance of getting rained on your big day.

  24. christa, i know this time is soooo tressful for you...i felt so much anxiety before i left and was a freak...steve made me promise that once we got to mexico i would let go of the results. haha, easier said than done...but just think...in 2 weeks you are gonna be laying on the beach with margarita in hand. how awesome is that?! maybe you just need a vacation. tammy
  25. i didnt really tan before but did tan in mexico but not excessively...i do regret being in the sun at all the day of the wedding because my nose got burnt. a heatly glow would be nice but i have seen brides that look all orange or reddish and it looked really bad.
