  1. alot of DW's have smaller groups...once the tequilla starts flowing you wont be able to tear people off the dance floor.
  2. when you post a message, near the bottom their are some other options like attaching docs or adding a poll.
  3. i added a poll for you...we didnt do them. after the invites, welcome letter, website, std, menus, table number and seating, we were just papered out...

Especially if you plan to hit on everything that breathes while she's standing right next to you. It's such a weird situation to be in though...they're both friends, and ya what he did was brutal, but he's still a good guy (in most respects), ya know? I almost feel bad for thinking he's such a dog, because I know that he's not like that towards anyone else....but then I feel so bad for her because I know it was totally unexpected and she was really really hurt and embarrassed and feel like I should kick him in the nuts. that is just awful...if he didn't feel that way towards her he should have not taken her and at the wedding at least been respectful of her and her feelings...broken up with her and then started pursueing other woman. to put myself in the gals shoes, how horrible.
  9. i want to hear more juicy details...i say send a thank you to each one. my drama was funny...we had a promiscious gal that tried to hook up with EVERYONE...married guys too...she made quite and impression...and one of the wives said "i am going to punch her lights out!" and the girl found out and spent the rest of the trip hiding in her room.
  10. welcome! there are a ton of helpful cabo brides on here!

  13. i voted mango and white as well...i love how bright parasols photograph!~

I was going to buy the ones that match my invites but it ended up being out of my budget at the time. we picked one of our favorite photos and made a thank you card online. it was more personalized and people got to see a pic if they were not close by.

  17. i didnt even bother to ask because it was $20 per person per set up.
  18. i used the same florist as christa and she was lower than flower cart and dreams directly..also, they have that costco like store that sells roses... i will be in cabo in may and can try to take a look...i will make sarah (aqharider) drive me around...haha, just kidding sarah!
  19. i thought it would be fun to share our favorite cookie recipe. here's mine. i love baking and these are the best recipe i found for Chocolate chip cookies. Thick and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon table salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly (1 1/2 sticks or 3/4 cup) 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark) 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 large egg yolk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1-2 cup chocolate chips Adjust oven racks to upper and lower positions and heat oven to 325 degrees. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda together in medium bowl; set aside. Either by hand or with electric mixer, mix butter and sugars until thoroughly blended. Mix in egg, yolk, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients; mix until just combined. Stir in chips. Using #40 cookie scoop (or rounded tablespoon) drop dough onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake, rotating cookie sheet halfway through baking, until cookies are light golden brown and outer edges start to harden yet centers are still soft and puffy, about 13-15 minutes.(Frozen dough requires an extra 1 to 2 minutes baking time.) Cool cookies on cookie sheets. Dough can be refrigerated up to 2 days or frozen up to 1 month—shaped or not.
  20. just a heads up so you can get your sizes before they sell out!

  23. congrats! toby is getting married there as well. i just posted some great 2007 rates so get your guests to book now! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t4236#post59589
  24. melissa, i am going to strangle you! that was one picture!! BRAT!
  25. mikki is right. TA's usually can get lower rates than the resort offers idrectly. in this case, the hotel started an "experiment promotion". Even though Toby booked before the prmotion, since it was so close to the promo date we were able to get rates lower than through the resort directly saving over $900.
