  2. karla, CONGRATS!! you are back. i know the girls ahve been stalking Juan's site for pics of you, edyta and sarah! you look gorgeous!
  3. i used it before my wedding with obagi and i have to tell you my skin looked GREAT! then i went of BC to get pregnant, stopped using it and turned into a hormonal, zitty mess...i cant wait to use it again. best to start with lower dosage retin a like .05 then move up gradually. it helps with zits but obagi helps with acne scar, evening color etc.
  4. they've started working on all rooms and the honeymoons are supposed to be included.
  5. she said they should have all the rooms renovated by august...lets cross our fingers.

  7. just a heads up, that prices and terms may have changed a bit but I think it is still a useful tool.
  8. we had a firework show that our guests thought we planned and they were blown away so i think it is worth it as well.
  9. ok, heads up...when i went on it, it made me a little nutty...i mean super hormonal and psychotic. i actually had to talk to a medical psychiatrist because i was so melancholy all of a sudden...she asked if i recently switched BC and i told her i did and she told me to give it 3 weeks. i was normal after that.
  10. hey ladies...thanks for the sweet words...i just feel so friggin huge. everyday someone tells me that i am so much bigger than i should be...it is making me a little nervous
  11. oohhh...lala. jessalyn you look smokin! maxim material. i cant wait until i am not fat and a hormonal mess to take boudoir pics...i told DH i was gonna do it but he said that if he had his way, i will be pregnant for the next 3 years
  12. there are a ton of hotels...then their is this old mansion in san rafael that is really pretty Historical Information About Falkirk Mansion or Mountain home in on Mt. Tam in Mill Valley: :::: Hotel in Mill Valley, Marin County, located high atop Mt. You cannot expect them to block off a group of rooms at a certain rate for you without a deposit. this is bad business....then people would block wayyyy more rooms then they needed and rlease them a month or so before departure date...how is that fair for the non-group traveller when they try to book a room to find out all the rooms have been saved w/no deposit. If rates are out, I can usually get them blocked w/ a contract in a week. 14. so annoying...i thought i left my sunglasses at home so i didnt have them the whole time...but when we went through checkin at the cabo airport, they were in one of the front pockets...super annoying because i was squinting the whole time. ps, you have no idea how big your boobies will get...mine went up like 3 sizes already....they are monstrosities....i especially felt huge next to sarah and edyta.
  15. hi heather, welcome...the PV queens (ann and amy) have not intercepted your post yet but i am sure they will have a bunch of info for you. tammy
  16. if i am in the area, i will try to grab some wedding info for you. i am actually around there quite a bit
  17. i am trying to get sarah to start a wedding/photobook business...
  18. i love it there!! even though i live in sf, i have spent a night or 2 there. it is in an awesome location right near the ferry building so you can take the ferry to sf and walk around...so fun. great place! ps. i used to live in sausalito (and still own a property there) and my sister lives about 100 ft from casa madrona so i am super familiar with it

  20. it is standard for there to be a per room or per person deposit to hold a room in the group block. this guarantees that the room is saved for your group at the group rate. hotel rates fluctual so if you are thinking of having it at a hotel that books quickly and you have a bigger group, then this is what you are going to need to do. one option is to lessen your number of rooms to hold now and when people start calling to book and put their deposit down, you can up the number of rooms if they are available. or have your ta try to negotiate the deposit rate. one group i worked on recently wanted $150 per person or $300 per room but we were able to negotiate it down to $200 per room.

She worked with me to find solutions to problems that arose and there’s no way I could have done this without her! Well, I probably could have- it just would have cost me an arm and a leg! awww...thanks sweetie. your group was fun!! Quote: Originally Posted by AQHARIDER Food: The food overall at Dreams is good. Everyone on this forum talked about how bad Himitsu was, but some of my guests wanted to try it. I’m not a huge sushi or Asian person anyway, but what I had was tasty and my guests said it was good. I believe Edyta’s guests enjoyed it as well. So, I guess it depends on what you order- my friend loved the vegetarian rolls, but said the Pad Thai was nothing like it should have been. Just an FYI… i have to say the breakfast at Dreams is AMAZING! i mean an omelette bar and betty the omelette lady makes the best omelettes and fresh to order waffles. they also have a fresh smoothie section and the yummiest green chilaquiles...YUMMY! It was 89-91 every day and just perfect in the shade. If you wanted to lay out it was great. At night it was 65-70, and just perfect with a pashmina or cardigan. On my wedding day, I was actually comfortable in my wedding dress. The only time I was too warm, was when we were taking pics right on the beach and standing out there for a long time, and at the reception when I was dancing like a crazy drunk college girl! Ahhh...I want to go back! the weather in May is fantastic in CABO...my favorite time!! I bought them from Japanese Kimonos, Chinese Paper Lanterns, Chopsticks, Chinese Dresses. I got the “wedding parasols” and paid $8 each. They were a little more expensive than some I’ve seen, but I was impressed with the quality- The ceremony goes SO FAST! Before we knew it, it was time to walk down the aisle- my dad forgot that he had to walk with me and was sitting with the other guests, so my mom had to go get him- too funny… My dad and brother sang and my dad played the guitar- I cried, it was very touching. My dad also performed the sand ceremony, which went really well. We almost went with tray passed cold canapés, but I’m glad I didn’t since my guests spent a ton of time on the beach getting their pictures taken and Tammy had to pretty much make them eat! It was great having Tammy, Steve, Edyta & Terry at my wedding- it’s funny how close you can feel to someone you only know from the internet, but yet I was insistent they be in our pics- they felt like family. ok, honestly, sarah did an amazing job with her OOT bags, petals bags, all the details...even steve said, she makes our wedding look so shabby...her eye for detail was impeccable and her guests were all so impressed with her. i was the freak that jumped out to throw petal at her...i think i will be in 1/2 of her pictures. also, when her dad and brother sang, it was so sweet...i totally cried and even steve got weepy. they did a great job and sounded wonderful. Now, you’d think she was a paid advertisement for Mexico destination weddings- she tells all her friends it’s the only way to go. We spent so much money paying for my family to be there, but I wouldn’t do it any differently now. My brother leaves for the Air Force this morning, and I would trade that 4 days in Mexico with him for anything. Not only did I have a perfect wedding, but also I had a perfect family vacation- there are memories that will last forever. this is exactly what i have been saying about DW's. yes, you will find resistence from family but in the end it is such a great time...not just wedding...for all. so worth the money and anxiety.
