  3. florence was my favorite...it was charming and smaller and clean and they have an outlet outside of florence that sells gucci, fendi, etc. instead of staying in venice (kind of crowded and smelly) i satyed on an island right off venice that had an hourly ferry to venice... we also travelled alot by rail...1 make sure to get your own cabin...2 get a moneybelt so you can wear your money/passports to sleep
  4. thanks for the great review...i am so happy everything went perfectly for you!

The hotel ended up calling another transfer for them, but then ended up having to pay cash. Strange, huh? you should have told me...i never knew...why did the hotel send them away? did they say? that is really strange for the hotel to do that...usually the receptionist at the hotel will try the room to get to the guest.
  7. hi lisa, i am pretty upset that the hotel did not have you booked on the 28th but it was with mariana and she is still working remotely from mexico ciry (at least last time we spoke) so i guess it fell through the cracks.. the epic issue is not right and not only do you deserve a refund but i think you should get a free transfer for you and fiance next time you are there...i'll start working on that.

Thanks so much, L and J honestly, this is a really weird question because you haven't even narrowed down which hotel(s) you want to use...room block rates are not set in stone...you can have 2 group blocks at the same resort for the same time and they may have different rates for different reasons. the best way to go is really just check out the non-group rates on expedia/orbitz whatever and narrow down your choice of hotel by the rate.

  18. $322 is a very good rate from LAX...not rock bottom but on the low side...if you have your plans solidified, go for it.. i usually try to get LAX flights in the $300 range if i can but they can get as high as in the high $400 range BUT so many airlines have direct flights to SJD that it is a real bonus to you.
  19. if you have a big day planned then a minimum of 6 hours...i think we booked him for 5 but he stayed longer and that was not enought time...i only gave him 1/2 hour with the boys and 1/2 and hour with me and in hindsight wished he had more time to do the before pics... i also wish i had him for my welcome dinner but i am so unphotogenic i didnt want to pay alot of $$ to yucky pics of me but he worked his magic and made me look alot better than i normally do
  20. welcome erik...we love a guys perspective!!

I don't usually like Fritos, nor do I eat past 7pm if I can help it... but I love chile and lemon was craving them! i love chili lime flavored anything...they have these pistachio nuts with that flavoring...sooo addicting...i love hot and sour. i actually make this mixture of chili poweder, salt, with some lemon lime and dip pineapple or sour plums in it...i thought it was an asian thing because in vietnam they eat pineapples and guavas like that but when i was in mexico they have something similiar.
  23. thanks for the review...cant wait to see pics!
