jaime, i had cystic acne right before my wedding and it was horrible...they left such horrible scars. i never had acne as a teen then all of a sudden got it and it was such a blow to my ego. i started on an obagi and IPL program and in 3 months had perfect skin for my wedding...i didn't even have to wear foundation or anything for my wedding.

...the people that are supposed to be at your destination wedding WILL be at your destination wedding. ...that it will be the best wedding your guests will have ever been to! ...that everything will turn out the way it is supposed to turn out. sounds kind of hokey but it is true.

you may want to contact TA Maureen. she is a travel agent on the forum and also got married at ROR so she knows the wedding and travel aspect of planning a DW at ROR.

So i just wanted to share about dreamdays.com. people have posted about how low their rates are and when i went to investigate, i found they are not advertised to include taxes so you do not know the rate until you get to the end of booking. the taxes they add are 12%. here are some rate examples: Dreams Tulum double occupancy October 2008: DD rates $221.75 per night / rate i got clients $218 per night December 2008 rates: DD $248.75 per night / rate i gave clients $245 per night May 2009 rates: DD rates $239.75 per night / rates i got clients $235 per night it is not a huge difference but i just wanted to that the rates are not different that what any TA can get. also, if you are working with a TA and find rates that are lower than what you have, ask your TA to try to match it.

it couldn't hurt to take taht course but i took the TAP course for alot less...and you can learn sabre, amadeus, etc on the job because different agencies use different systems.

for private events they do close a section for you so they are pretty private...but you do have to pay for private event.

policies vary greatly in cost and what they cover but i have never heard of insurance for $1 per day...

some friends just got married there in june...i can see if they will write a review.

this is a great contest for someone who who could not afford such a great package...

we had the same attitude...pretty much anyone that wanted to come was invited. of course this caused some problems with a few of the guests that did not behave properly but they just aren't invited to future events. we had a reunion trip and pretty much everyone was invited...even my sisters friends, friends of friends, parent of friends of friends.... it was a good time.
