UPDATE 2/04/2010: this promotion has ended but they have extended it for brides that book them for their wedding now until the end of february.

thanks again for all that attended the webinar. I sent the list of attendees to the wedding department for the complimentary gift. if you DID NOT attend the webinar and lie to the resort and said you did just to get the complimentary gift you are VERY shady. The amenity was negotiated by me for attendees. if it is found out that you are trying to deceive the resort and say you attended the webinar when you did not, you may lose forum priviledges.

we are looking for reports of issues during this upgrade. NOT attitude, rudeness, snarkiness. if you would like to pay to hire more people to help with the tech issues, you are more than welcome to...if not, i would leave the snarkiness out of this thread.

also, if you want to consider doing a group block, sometimes the resort will make an exception and let you block rooms at 2010 rates...but this is not always the case and you need to get a contract, put a deposit down, etc.

sometimes if you post in the thread, it will bring you to the next page...its like the forum isn't caught up to the latest post or something

ok, so we finished with phase I of the forum upgrade and upgraded the software. The pages should load ALOT faster as well as searches. If you are still getting an error, please respond to this thread with that type of error you are receiving and what you were doing when you got the error (searching, posting, browsing, etc.) After we work out the bugs from the software upgrade we can move on to the hardware upgrade. thanks, tammy

Well the forum really slowed down once we hit a million posts. The database just got too big. We have been upgrading the software and hardware to keep up with the increase in traffic but it has been difficult because the forum has grown so quickly. We just finished with the software upgrade and are upgrading the server AGAIN so the forum should start to run faster again.

thanks for attending everyone...we had a great turnout of about 20 brides and over 30 questions asked. I hope everyone got their questions answered properly. If not, please post questions here and i will try to get them answered.

Hi kristen We will have a small presentation on your computer screen that will go over the different packages etc. We will also have a Q & A session. It will run about an hour but if during the presentation all of your questions are answered you can log off earlier and enjoy your weelkend

i did the casino night for my welcome dinner, also mexican buffet for welcome dinner, then had poker set up for a reunion trip...this year's reunion trip may have a pinata for kids but not sure yet. dreams does really great private events...my review is in my siggy.
