I love Azul sensatori, NOW Jade, and Dreams Riviera Cancun. I think Azul Sensatori has great food but AMResorts has the best group amenities. For AMResorts we are also offer spa certificates. With Azul Sensatori, we offer spa and upgrades (based on availability). I am sure TA Babs has told you of our exclusive perks.

I totally agree with Kim. +one is one thing but inviting a group to attend is another! It's one thing is you know them and would be cool with them attending. I know most 18 year old boys probably would rather be at the club unsupervised than at your wedding so maybe give them an out. Say something like "The location where we booked our ceremony and reception has a size limitation and I did not take into account that your family would invite 10 more people....Unfortunately it cannot accommodate that many more people. I am sure the boys would prefer to opt out of the wedding and just enjoy themselves."

It is actually quite common for resorts to charge an outside vendor fee but as long as you know that in advance, you can budget that fee into your total budget. The original issue is resolved where the resort changed policy mid-wedding planning and Karisma did change their outside vendor policy to make it more fair.

For a larger group, some resorts like Hard Rock and Palace has free private events. The free weddings even include decorations or you can use resort credits. If you want to contact us, we can break down the pros and cons of the different resorts.

Usually the room rates will be very similar but there are variables that can affect pricing mainly occupancy levels. Another thing to consider is that for group blocks, there might be blackout dates that exclude any group amenities. It really is best to contact a destination wedding specialist to get pricing and group amenities to you.
