  1. i think you will be pleased with bradley's work and also be glad you spent the extra $$
  2. i think Zoetry Casa del mar is a great option as it is a luxury, boutique resort. it is small (32 suites) so easy for a buyout, is all inclusive which is a great option for group/weddings and has a great wedding department. they have really amazing spots for wedding and reception locations. i posted some pictures here: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/gallery/album/view/id/7819/user_id/1 Â
  3. well, we actually provide a service that you pay ZERO for. the resort/wholesaler pays us. do you know how many times we have saved peoples butts with the advice that we give, streamline booking for people, make sure people are booking at the right resort and right dates of a brides wedding. Â and no, we don't need to kiss your ass and you do not need to kiss ours. we just need to have a respectful relationship. Â just a note, that I am not working with akua or natalie, and i do sympathize with their situation but it really is best to have a mutually respectful and beneficial relationship with your TA. we are working with you...alot of my clients become long term clients as well as friends.
  4. mindy, they are totally different resorts in entirely different parts of mexico. yes they are under the dreams chain but all the resort do differ in price, management, amenities (like some have a swimmable beach, others do not...some have been more recently renovated, others not...). Â when you are comparing prices, it is critical to compare like for like. meaning same resort, same room category, same dates of travel, same airfare if that is what is quoted as well. Â to compare rates from 2 different resorts, in 2 different cities, travelling at 2 different times is not that helpful. Â i understand your point about dreams being affordable but when you do not make it clear that the rates that you are quoting are for an entirely different resort than what the original poster is asking for it can cause confusion....and i think that is why she was asking where you booked your rates since they are like $150 less than what dreams LOS CABOS is offering. Â
  5. carolina, for now you can pm them but that is a GREAT suggestion and i will run it by the engineers to see if we can make it happen.
  6. ok, i really have to make some clarifications. Â Mindy, you do know that rebecca is trying to get rates for Dreams Los Cabos? aren't you getting married at Dreams Riviera Cancun? they are 2 totally different resorts... Â mindy, rebecca is posting this in the cabo forum...for dreams riviera cancun for october i am seeing a rate of $188 per night for double occupancy. Â
  7. you're looking to pay someone $500-600 total for your wedding pics? Â you want to risk it? Â when you are paying a photog, it is not just for the hours that they are at your wedding, shooting, but also all the time spent on post production....
  8. review is in wrong section so please post in review section...thread locked
  9. as you can see, you have a few options. you may want to try to navigate around the forum and give it a chance before making complaints.
  10.  well, you can do a search. or on your homepage, it actually just shows only reviews if you click the "product" tab.  it really is an easier forum to use. you may want to read some of the tutorials on the site. i think they might be helpful to you.  FAQ  Discussion Forum Tutorial  Search and Advanced Search Tutorial Â
  11. Â Â Bachata is right...if you have gone to a resort, you can review them.

  13. and for december, the group rate i have for my clients is $161 per person/pr night double occupancy for all inclusive.
  14. i also wanted to add that with group blocks, we have been able to negotiate extras like free nights for site, free upgrades, and free rooms.
  15. Dreams Riviera Cancun is a very different resort than Dreams Los Cabos (and on opposite coasts) so comparing rates from 2 different resorts in 2 different cities is like comparing apple to oranges. Dreams Los Cabos is one of the more expensive resorts in cabo. The Riu, Melias, Presidente Intercontinental are all much lower in price.
  16. please do a search on the forum for destinationweddings.com this thread is now closed
  17. i've been to Zoetry and it is AMAZING! it is right next to Las Ventanas so you may even get a glimpse of a movie star
  18. group rates really depend on what time of year you are going...i have been able to beat the group rates directly through the resort so if you want to send me a pm with what dates you have i can give some approx. rates.
  19. it is still chilly in feb. i was there a year and a half ago in mid february and it was brisk at night and some days were too cold to hang out at the pool/go swimming.
