Bridesmaids dresses - where to shop?

Hi girls, Now that I have found my own dress, I'm on the hunt for the perfect bm dress that will suit the occasion and different body types. I want my girls to feel great and look great and am really hoping to find something off the rack in Jacob or something like that. I found this dress and love it, comes in yellow and pink. What do you think? I read somewhere that target carries really cute dresses as well! My dress is ivory/pearl, not sure what color will look best, def not the yellow, maybe pink?? I was also thinking about having the girls wear black cocktail dresses, any thoughts?? I know it's not super beachy but I love black with ivory... Need help!!!

I got my brideamaids dresses from target... 39.99 each!!! They are absolutely perfect and beachy. I wanted to do black cocktail dresses too but my Moh had a fit she said black is not for the beach and we will be so hot! I ended up with teal strapless cocktail dresses and I could not be happier! I also wanted to do black cocktail as it would be simple and easy to find.  I have seen beach weddings do this before and it looks great!  We did chose to go with different dresses and got them from sears.  They were just under 60 dollars and they definately look better in real life then on the website.  They no longer have them on the website so I can't even show you a picture!

Wanted to add... these dresses are $69, which in my opinion, is awesome I really don't want to spend (or have the girls spend) a fortune on bridesmaids dresses they are never going to wear again.

You're MOH had a fit?! I hope my girls don't throw tantrums!! lol.. I don't think it would be hot as long as you get the right material. Something like a really light chiffon or something similar would be fine in the sun in any color. I'm just not sure if it would look weird in pictures with black dresses and a beautiful beach setting.  I'm really torn on colors because I also really love the tropical pinks/greens/yellows/oranges...

I saw these the other day and thought they would be perfect bridesmaids dresses.  They are from Jacob right?  You can also look at H&M, RW&co, Le Chateau as well.  I am thinking I may do the convertible dresses from American Apparel because they are inexpensive and they can all wear them a way they like and theyre comfy, I am just afraid they may be too casual!  My other choice is a strapless cocktail dress.

 

What are your colours beachbum? Or have you not decided yet?  My BMs will be wearing one of our colours
