Need advise regarding the shoes (pic posted)

Hi Ladies,

 

I need your help regarding the wedges that I want to buy for my beach wedding. I love heels but as I can't wear them on the beach (I am quite short) I want to wear this 4" wedges (Shiekh Womens Ceduce-192X). If any of you have worn 4" wedges on the beach, was it difficult or not?

won't wedges be difficult to walk in in sand?  otherwise, i think they look comfy.  :-)  good luck!  R~

I read in a few posts that wedges are better for the sand. So I don't know.

Hi Shahlo!  I wore 4in wedges for my beach wedding last fall.  It was definitely better than heels and I couldn't imagine getting married in flip flops or no shoes, even if it was on the beach.  All in all, I had to adjust my weight to the balls of my feet to keep from sinking in the sand during the ceremony, otherwise it was fine.  I id lose my shoes part of the way thru the pics but no problems.  If you want them, go for it.  It'll work well.

if you want the height, I think those are great, and they look super comfortable (which is something that's often sacrificed for 4" ; ) I've only ever heard of wearing wedges on the beach, so they may be just what you need. maybe a dress-rehearsal before the wedding would help you decide?
