What made your OOT bags unique and special for your guests??

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies-

I know there are a lot of threads on here about OOT bag contents but I searched and couldn't find anything about special or unique items that brides included in their OOT bags.  I would like to find out what sort of things you are including/included in your OOT bags that was not the usual suncare, hangover kits, and mugs.  I am interested in finding out if anyone included anything special that your guests really loved or something that maybe the rest of us didn't think to include.

For example, I read about a bride who is including mini ipod speakers in her OOT bags...I think that is an awesome idea (and only $2 on amazon.com) and I would have never thought of that!  So share your unique OOT bag ideas please!!  Thanks!!! cheesy.gif

Some of the things that we are planning to include that I haven't seen too many people give are:

- small citronella candles with personalized matches in our colors (they say Thank You with our initials and date- $17.99 for 100 on the knot store)

- Waterproof cameras (to take underwater pics while snorkeling).  Amazon has decent prices for sets of 10+.

- CD's with the wedding songs of all the married couples that are attending.  This might be a bit of an undertaking, but on the label I want to include the couples name, song, and how many years they have been married.  I think it will be really sweet, and everyone's condo should have a CD player :)

Our wedding will be down in St John and sometimes it is buggy, so we thought it would be nice for everyone to have citronella candles for their patio.  As far as the cameras, everyone has digital cameras but we thought it is nice to have a camera that you can jump off the boat with and take snorkeling.  I wished I had mine on our last trip when we spotted a group of three sea turtles!!!

Hope this helps, I would love to hear some special ideas too!

We are including inflatable pillows.  I have a thread here...

Also made buttons with everyone's initials so they can attach to their towel, beach bags etc.

I love the speaker idea, but I could only find them for $10 a pair.  I'll have to look again.

Looking forward to hear about other ideas.

I just purchased flip flop playing cards!! Which I think are just precious, they were $0.89 each, and depending on where you live they add on a different amount for shipping.

Love these ideas! Instead of a typed welcome letter, I am thinking of doing hand written notes to each guest/couple. We already have about 50 rooms booked, so I feel like a hand-written note might make our large wedding feel more intimate. I was also thinking of including a cd of all of the wedding weekend songs with the history behind them.

WendyL77,

I plan to order citronella votive candles from candles 4 less (20 candles per box):

Then I am going to put them in these little holders:

I plan to package the votive, holder, and matches together in a cute little bag with a ribbon.  After looking at prices, I think this is the cheapest way to do it and people can also use the votive holder once the citronella candle is gone.
