My AHR reception at the Dallas World Aquarium

Here are a few pics from my AHR a couple of weeks ago. It was at the Dallas World Aquarium and we had 3 levels of the Rainforest which was amazing! Guests started at the top floor with a bar, monkeys, a sloth, crocodile, birds. They made their way down past otters, bats, snakes, spiders (it's cooler than it sounds lol). Then cocktail reception was in a room with floor to ceiling tank of manatees, fish, turtles. Then they opened up the main room which also had a smaller tank and this was where the reception/dancing was held. It was a great time!

We had a 140 people comprised of family, friends, and both DH and my co-workers. I was (at first) against seating assignments, but decided that controlled chaos was better. It ended up being a great decision because we were able to put our work teams together at like tables where they actually knew other people.

I wore my wedding dress through the cocktail reception, and then changed before they announced us in for the dinner reception.

I ordered the seating chart on Etsy:

I also ordered the table number luminaries on Etsy, although you can't tell they are lit up because of the camera flash. The center centerpiece also had submersible floralytes at the bottom that changed 8 different colors (from amazon). I also ordered the cylinder vases and floating candles from amazon

May I ask, what etsy seller did you get the seating chart from?

Hello! I used conncall: http://www.etsy.com/shop/conncall?section_id=7409194

She was very sweet and quick to make adjustments. We then took the sign to Office Depot to be printed and bought a 18" x 24" frame on sale at Michael's.
