Bahia Principe Bavaro/Punta Cana Brides

Hi Ladies,

 

My name is claire and I'm a new member. I recently got married at the Bahia Principe Bavaro in PC. Last year I started a group on MSN to talk to brides who have gotten or were getting married at this resort. Since then we have had about 100 women and some men join. We have lots of great info and pictures on the site. We found it kind of pointless to keep asking Mariana the same questions so it was a great way to share info we had gotten.

Yes it's pretty much all discussions on that resort. Although we do have lots of cake, flower, favor and decoration idea's posted so always worth a look.

Do you know if a lot of the information is the same as the Bahia Principe in Riviera Maya? Like the cake and flower items?

We have a wedding booked at the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro for April 2010 and have tried to find the MSN Group for the brides but can't seem to get in.

Thought it would be helpful to read about the different questions and ideas from the other brides.

YAAAA! i was so excited to see this post! i am getting married there July 8 2011 and would love some info or tricks to making it a awesome day! i have stayed there once before. so i know the place is amazing. just curious about flowers, different packages, photos, ect ect! thank you!

im kerry and i am also getting married in GBP bavaro/punta cana in april 2010!!! tried to get onto the msn group but it appears its no longer ther! i have been sent a really good info pack from the wedding co-ordinates who i must say have already been so helpful and really fast getting bac to e-mails. cant wait to get over ther now!!!

Welcome. Our wedding is at the Gran Bahia Principe on April 15, 2010. What is your date.
I would like to compare some of the notes on what you have done to prepare for your wedding at this resort. Here is what has been done from our end;
- resort - Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro
- travel package arranged for April 10 - April 17th, 2010
- travel package information posted on facebook & sent out emails - 30 guests booked
- wedding package selected - Blissful Love
- wedding location selected - Boda Gazebo
- wedding reception locatoin selected - Piscis Restaurant
- ceremony time - 2:00 p.m. (not what we originally wanted but rather what we could get)
- reception time - 6:30 p.m. till 10:30 p.m.
Not sure what else needs to be done right now so I would be interested to hear what you have planned and what you are currently trying to arrange - just so that we don't miss out on anything
Let me know your date because perhaps we could share some things.

wow our dates are really close i get married on the 22nd april 2010. we have 37 guests that have already booked some are coming over to DR for 1week some for 2weeks dates from the 13th to the 27th.

you seem alot more organised than me lol. we stil havent decided on the gazebo we want! we have booked the garden grill (had 2 pay supplement to have this private) 6:30 til 10:30. we wanted our wedding around 3pm and that hasnt yet been confirmed.

we have been told that our wedding package is the sunshine package but we are hopefully going to upgrade to the blissful love package!!!

some thoughts that im having now, dnt involve the resort! but im unsure weather 2 order a silk bouquet and need to look around at solicitors and getting the legal documents needed translated.

have u got a massive wedding dress, or have you gone for a lighter weight dress??

what is your colour scheme? ours is blue
