Finally chose my photographer and I'm so excited!!!

I had the hardest time choosing bw Ivan Luckie and Cecilia Dumas!  I had decided to move forward with Ivan earlier in the week and then Cecilia approached me with a great offer, which made it even harder but I still had some hesitations.  Thanks to some past brides on this forum that have used Cecilia, they were able to set my mind at ease and made the choice easy from that point!  Yesterday I signed the contract with Cecilia and made my 20% deposit and I know I made the right choice!  I am 100% confident she will do an outstanding job capturing our moments   Thanks again to the brides that offered their input

Congratulations on choosing your photographer!! Since your photos are about all you really get to keep from your wedding, it's definitely an item worth splurging on

Congrats! I'm in a similar situation and was just curious, what offer did she give you that tipped the tide in her favor?

I emailed both photographers and this is what Cecilia gave me:

 

 

"If you don´t want the prints this will not make a big difference in the price, will be only $25 maybe less. I rather do the prints, this way I will edit and digitally retouch the images to print, and we can be sure about the quality of the color and paper. This way, I will be sure about the final result of my work.

 

Anyway, because I know you have to pay for a room in order to allow me to work at the hotel I can include the digital negatives for free; this will be a $200 dollars discount. I hope this helps! Think about it and let me know your decision"

 

In comparison, she's still more expensive than Ivan...guess it just depends on who feels right!

Both of them are very prompt in responding (or that was my experience).  Cecilia is in Argentina this week, but she is still answering emails.
