shoes (white and silver reef fanning flip flops with a bottle opener) got them

Girls dresses are getting ordered

reception site for home reception in april is booked

noon wedding at moon palace on feb 27th done

groomsmen outfits are all picked out and best man has already put it on

future husbands suit is in his closet

first 25 boarding pass invites went out in the mail on friday

 

So I have no idea if i am ahead of of the game or behind it at this point.

I think you're doing great on time! This is what I have done/yet to do! So you're still ahead of me!

My dress is being made as we speak (1st fitting on Sat. Sept. 26)
Have my 2 pairs of shoes (white flip flops w/crystals & white wedge sandals with cork bottoms)
Girls dresses are already bought (Jcrew silk chiffon juliet dress in clover)
Reception site for home reception on Feb. 19th is booked
DJ for AHR is booked
Flowers at AHR not ordered yet (still deciding on flower variety)
3pm wedding booked on the beach at Catalonia Riviera Maya on Feb. 10, 2010
Still need to get the groom/groomsmen outfits
STD's getting mailed out Oct. 1st
Passport Invitations going out Nov. 1st/Dec. 1st timeframe

I am definitely making progress in our planning........but have tons left to do. I have everything organized in my mind, but nothing is actually completed.

I am going dress shopping on Saturday (have to go out of town.....only one bridal shop in my hometown). I know that this is cutting it close for time, so I am crossing my fingers. Was anyone able to order a dress within 4 months?

I am picking up our invitations from print tomorrow and will hopefully mail them the same day.

Photographer is booked! (Thats one thing off the list...haha)

Lots to do, but loving every minute of it!

I think most bridal shops say 6-8 weeks so I think you will be okay. The other thing is you can search the clearance rack for your size and just have it altered if you run too low on time. I found a lot of dresses I liked on the clearance rack but some of them were sample dresses so they were worn out from girls trying them on and dirty.

I haven't booked a photographer yet! My brother is taking a video of our wedding but haven't got a photographer yet! Yikes!

Just enjoy yourself! Try not to get too stressed out! This is suppose to be a fun time, just remember that!

I don't know if Alberta is the same as Ontario, but mine is taking 4 months - although they said that they could rush it - for a fee. Good luck.

Oh my the kids clothes arrived days apart. Not sure if I told you this , we're a combined family and have dated 5 years and lived together 3 years this july. Our kids one each, my son nearly 20 and Mark's daughter 15 barely interact with each other. They never ever fight , but also exchange only words like "hey, where's dad and Sue, how long til dinner. Kinda get my drift!!!!! strangers!!!!!
So Mark and I asked them if they would wear simular colour clothing for the wedding because we're both wearing very blah colours. They both agreed and I picked their clothes.
My son's stuff arrived and he stuck it in the closet, Steph's, dress and shoes arrive two days later and she tries her's on. My son and his Gfriend come in at that very moment and Steph says to my son, go get your stuff on and lets see how gay we look." He did and I have to say my heart was beating out of my chest and I got my camera and batteries were dead. Go figure!!
That had to be the most communication they have ever had. Steph said her and her gfriends were teasing him one night he came home blasted last xmas and started eating the decorated dog cookies her and her friends made. I wasn't there to see that, so this was my major moment. I was very touched and emotional to know they both are into us getting married. My emotional meltdown. lol
How goes your planning?

I went to Calgary dress shopping and it depended on where the dress was from but they said 6 months usually 4 months if your lucky. I ended up buying mine off rack. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Can I be nosy and ask where you got your invites printed. I am looking for local companies and since we are both Alberta gals.. hehe thanks and good luck tomorrow. Will be waiting to here how it all went.

glad you decided on the photographer i don,t know about you but in day day to day life i am a really strong decision maker but making final decisions for the wedding is like what.thats where the fi comes in hehe.if you have to pay anything i would just think it is the day pass cost?
