why are men so @*&% stupid sometimes?!!?!?!?

I am just so pissed this morning my man. We've been living together for a year now and seriously, why can't he just put his stuff in the same place every day? NOOOOOOOOO, he has to search EVERY MORNING for his f'ing keys, wallet, hat, cell phone, blah blah. I mean SERIOUSLY WTF??!?!? censored.gifcensored.gifcensored.gif I have no problems putting my stuff in the same spot all the time and know exactly where everything is. SHEESH!!!

Anyway, I guess I'm calmer now but it just pisses me off that my day is delayed (we car-pool) because I have to wait for him to do his "gathering" in the morning! It's nice that he gets to lay in bed for 25 mins after the alarm goes off and then made me wait for him because he's not ready...MEN!!!!!!!!!!

Am I the only one with this problem or all are men like this?!?

(seriously, I have a great man. I'm just super tired/stressed this morning)

NOPE!!!

My honey would forget his head if it wasn't attached to his shoulders and I am sure he looks in the mirror sometimes and says" Oh there you are"!!!!!!

Drives me crazy!!! I remember to do everything and he forgets everything. I put note in his car on the dash to remind him to go to the bank, pick up things.. you name it. I use to do the text thing... well once he has read the text he forgets about it lol.... Damn he is so lucky he is cute... That's why we loved them "faults too"

Ya the same thing irritates me. He is always running around "Where's my watch, where are my keys" blah blah blah. It used to piss me off a lot but I guess I've gotten used to it. I also have taken steps to make it easier for his apparent slow brain at finding things.

So I set up a container thing on this table that is very close to when you walk in, anytime we're together i make a point to put my phone, keys, etc in a compartment of this container. I then stand there and encourage him to unload his wallet, keys etc. he even has his own compartments for things. So he is now pretty good at it! I'd say like 4/5 times his stuff is in this container thing. And it's at least the first place he looks for things so even if they aren't there he thinks they should be!

Something to try anyway but you do have to train them!!

ohmygosh. what about trying signs? with arrows like "put keys here". Seriously they act like they are 7 so treating them like they're 7 makes sense.

I don't know why we have to train them. I think they just have other things on their mind like "who's playing in the game tonight?" and they aren't capable of keeping multiple thoughts in their heads at once so football trumps everything.

It's sad. When I have kids and they are boys I will train them. So that way their FI's won't have to!!!!

Oh no!!!! I don't believe they can be trained!!!

Just watch a guy pull off a tshirt... it is in their brains to yank it off over their head by the back, the neck, shoulder whatever they get their hands on. Gals start from the bottom and nicely pull it up and off.

I believe that this I forget were I put my keys, I forgot you said we're going to your mother's.... Is just basic man brain function!!!!!!! They don't remember these things because they have found a woman to remember these stupid things... Now ask him the score of the fooball game last nite... Oh you can get a play by play... Now where's my keys in the morning... lol We are the stronger sex lol

LOL I am sorry girls but in my household that is me you are talking about! You girls sound exactly like my man! I try to put them in the same spot but depending on what I have in my hands I don't always. Plus it usually gets moved a few times! And there is never any room left on the hooks for the keys, by the time I am hanging mine up! I do have my usual spots, its only a problem when my pruse is not there! But I am continously returning into the house to get something I forgot. Everytime just about! It has now turned into the running joke. There is just too much to remember! The biggest problem is if I have spot to keep these things, as soon as I remove them I kids "fill" the space/void with all kinds of stuff. LOL

bahahahahaha

they CAN be trained though I've seen it happen. But it takes effort. Although maybe not every man can but I've definitely made progress with my FI.

He even understands now that if he invites friends over for dinner, and he is doing the inviting, he must be hella sure he's put all his shit away that's all over the place and that it is HIS responsibility to do so. :) He also double checks when he flushes the toilet EVERYTIME to ensure he has completely flushed. This was a difficult one though it took over a year.

Ana has some good insight as well she has her DH trained to do everything she says pretty much. It's pretty awesome. He even went to a sex shop to pick up our devil costumes for a bachelorette party we were going to in vegas. I would've NEVER gotten my FI to do that in a million years! She's my hero!
