Yeah, pitbulls are banned in Ontario and New Brunswick. But I think cities/towns can have their own by-laws on banning certain breeds even if it's not a province ban.

There's actually quite a few pitbulls here where I am(mainly staffies)... My ex-boss has own (maybe 2 now), and the stories she has told me about others she has met with the same breed as her... some people that own one that shouldn't be... they are into building the dog's muscles and teaching the dogs to become aggressive because they want the dogs to be guard dogs.

Yep and thats the problem with most pits that end up having issuse is that the OWNER didn't teach the dog right. Or they got a pit that was bread from within same blood, just like humans that are inbread they are not right in the head.

Def agree most of the time its the owner, there is someone around me that go from dog park to dog park with his pit with the intention of fighting with other dogs and doesnt try to brake it up and keeps a blinder of all the new articles of the fights that his dog as been in. He just came to the one i go to last week and others at the park call the cops on him.

Yea my pups are pits too and they are banned in a lot of cities around Cleveland (where FI lives). When we take them to the dog park out there some people get all uptight and I'm like, this is the dog that cuddles with a teddy bear and never barks, are you serious? Pits are pleasers, so they'll do whatever you tell them to repeatedly. So if you are encouraging them to fight and growl, they'll keep doing it. I encourage mine to play with other dogs and run out their energy, so that's what they do. It's TOTALLY the owner that makes or breaks what a pit will be.

OMG! Really?? This person is sick!!! He should be locked up - but the sad thing is, it's the dog that's going to be punished, not him!

People like him make me soooooo sick! I just got the chills bc that is just sick to me. He is the reason pits get bad names.

I love your picture! How in the world did you get your dog to just sit there. My pit would of been all in the water. You would think he was a water dog. lol
