JerseyKitten, I just opened up the link to look at it again (I'm luvin it) and I noticed the photograher is sungold who I know are some amazing photgraphers in JA. Do you know if theyu have officially opened up to outside Jamaican photgraphers or do you still have to act like there family and wedding guests?[/quote

I have booked one of Sungold's associates for my wedding in October at the Grand Palladium. How Paula explained it to me was that if the photographer has a room booked they are considered guests of the hotel and therefore it will not be a problem. I have not read anywhere in the information sent to me from the Palladium that specified no use of outside photographers (nor have I signed anything agreeing to that) so I can't see it being a problem on the day. I have booked our photographer a room for the night of the wedding and we are splitting our photography time between the day of the wedding and the day after. Hope that helps!

Jane

Paula told me she's never had any issues getting into the Grand Palladium - never had to pay for a day pass or anything. I don't think they're that strict - I don't even plan on telling them that they're coming - they know how to come in on they're own.

Day Pass (9am - 6pm) $55 US For Adults, $28 US For kids (3-12)
Night Pass (6pm - 2am) $65 US Adults, $32 US For Kids

Keep in mind the per person charge for anyone above 8, thats extra..

I am not planning on telling them that I am using an outside photographer either.

Jerseykitten-are you still planning to use the hotel photographer for the pictures that are included in the wedding package? I think I am going to ask for those pictures to be taken the night before at our rehersal dinner.

Hi,

At GP for our rehersal dinner they just gave us a private section of one of the a la carte restaurants and it didn't cost anything extra!

Hi,

The food at the GP was AMAZING! I am a pretty picky eater but i love it all. There is sooo much to choose from with so many restaurants! The food was always hot, cooked well and had tons of flavor. My fav restaurants were the italian, indian and Jamaican! The sports bar had these wicked sandwiches and the chicken nuggets tasted like the ones from McDonalds!!

Hope that helps!

I hadn't even thought about it - that's a great idea!

HELP!!!! I am trying to figure out my photography situation. I am getting married June 3, 2010 at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. Do you have to use True Colors Photography? That is the only information Jascynthia sent me. Has anyone used True Colors? If so, were you happy with your photos?
