Sand Ceremony

Gosh there are alot of brides on here that did a sand ceremony. I seen big shells for the sids and a vase for the center. I think those are my fav's.

Reggie & I are planning to do one. We like the shells & the vase also.

I couldn't find any posts on this...

I really want to keep the vases, so I am looking for something with a lid, it seems impossible. Did you all bring yours home?

That was the exact same problem I was having, everything I found was either thin glass that I was afraid would break in transport or didn't have a lid. SO I got fed up with looking and ended up doing a "hand Ceremony".. LOL

well....I know at AC Moore (craft store near me) they sell different shaped glass containers with a cork in them - that could work! Some look EXACTLY like the heart glass on this website: Sand Ceremony just with a cork.

I haven't gotten it yet....but I'll look around online & see if I can find it!

Sample Sand Ceremony - 1

"Today, this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand one, representing you BRIDE and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, GROOM, and all that you were and all that you are, and all that you will ever be. As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Each grain of sand in their separate containers represents a unique and separate moment, decision, feeling or event that helped shaped Bride and Groom into the separate and unique individuals that they are today. As they pour their separate containers of sand into a common vessel, those separate and independent individuals will cease to exist. Instead they will merge into a loving and supportive marital community.
