Short Wedding Dresses

I've been thinking about wearing a tea length dress for my Jamaican wedding My mom thinks I will miss out if I don't get a more traditional dress. Thoughts? Anyone out there with short dress pics?

I originally wanted a cocktail dress too. Then I started trying dresses on. I ended up with long and a small train. I love my dress! If you have tried on something shorter that you love then go with it. Just try on the long ones too so you know for sure.

I would suggest you try both! See which one you like best! At the end of the day, its whatever you feel most comfortable/beautiful/sexy in!

or you can have two dresses( if it fits in the budget)... one for the ceremony/ pictures and another for the reception/dancing.

I agree with the post above. Try a more traditional one for the wedding and tea length for your reception!

Yeah but only online Its like I have a picture in my had and I can't find anything to match. I'm going to look at dresses for the first time on Saturday with my mom and best friend, so hopefully I'll figure out what I want!!!!

I looked at some. I seem to have better luck with bridesmaid dresses in white.

If someone could tell me how to post a picture I can show you the short dress I wore for our civil ceremony in the U.S. (we had a formal event for this). People LOVED it.
