thanks for directing me to your post. It was very helpful! I am now interested in Mil Amores, but their website is acting funky. Can you tell me more about this place. What kind of hotel is it? How much does it cost? Do they allow the ceremony and reception? Thanks again for your help!

Milamores is two mansions that are run as hotels, so they are not cabanas, if that is what you are asking. The rooms are generally attached to a main hallway that runs across the floor. Each house has a kitchen/dining room and living room that act as common areas. The staff, of course, does the cooking. They have a total of 21 rooms that can host up to 70 people. Many of the rooms are private king rooms but they also have suites that have separate bedrooms and living rooms. Many of them have hand tiled jacuzzi sized bathtubs.

The hotel offers room service and bar service both in the house and on the beach.

Room rates in the low season range from $150-$200/night.

They do host both the ceremony and the reception. Their current rate is $150/person for the wedding/ceremony, including private dinner and open bar.

Thanks Butterfly! The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and everyone said they enjoyed it. I see you are getting married in Tulum as well. I would highly recommend Charlie & Maria if your coordinator can get them.
