Wedding Planner/Coordinator Budget ?

Hi Ladies,

What are you all paying for your WC/WP? It looks like a lot of you are going with Maye. I've seen some pricing in the $1k - $2k price range; is this accurate and, if so, what type of services are you receiving--full planning (ie, finding and coordinating rehearsal, helping with more than day of) or day of only. Just curioius to find out if the services you're receiving compare to my WP whose fee is $2,750. Thanks!! Lisa

Maye's prices vary from approx $675-$975+ depending on the type of ceremony. There is extra paperwork involved if you have a religious/civic ceremony vs. a symbolic one.

You also pay a premium for her vendors. I think it's 10%.

I will say she's GREAT to work with. You'll find allot of cabo vendors take FOREVER to get back you to or there are some that are spanish speaking only which may prove difficult. Maye gets back same day or next in most cases and is willing to work within your budget.

We are working with Maye. Since we are bringing our own Officiant, etc. we are paying $600 plus there is the 10% "tax" on all her vendors. This includes the rehearsal, our ceremony, reception and welcome dinner.

Whether you decide to use her or someone else, I would highly warn against Weddings in Paradise - Tammy had an awful experience with them. Also I started working with Bella Brides and they are totally overpriced.

Yes, to add on with what Kash said "DON'T" use Wedding in Paradise. Trust me, I ended up releasing them from their contract, lost my deposit money but TOTALLY worth it IMO because they suck.

I'm paying $500 for my WC services and she's suposedly not charging extra for the vendors she books for me..

I am working with maye too now and she quoted me the $975. I asked her what th judge and doctor fee were and she said $300. I assumed it was in addition to the 975?? Is it part of the 975?
