Non-Traditional Rings Anyone?

Just curious if anyone has non-traditional engagement rings or wedding bands.

not really sure what you mean.... like not a diamond solitaire? or colored stones?

I don't know what you mean either... I have FI's grandmother's engagement ring which is VERY vintage looking and I am using a ring that my grandmother wore which is a vintage looking etched thick band.

Well, I think I know what you mean I think I do have non traditional rings.

My e-ring is a pearl (I did not want a diamond) :

and my band is not a band, it's just a ring that is a little bit band-like and that I fell in love with. All the pieces are articulated and so the ring is not solid, it's flexible :

Did you use pearl or gemstones vs diamond? Is your band something funky/trendy? or maybe your band has gemstones...
