I just received the same hibiscus bags from oriental trading company. They do have 2 of each color. Pretty thin, but nice for the price. same material as the reusable cloth grocery bags. I like the idea of having a variety for my guests as well.
They also appear to be similar quality to the solid totes on the Paper Mart site ( well by the look of the pic on the website :), haven't actually seen them in person).
FYI those interested in the solid bags, I was just in Garden Ridge the other day and they have several of the tote bags in solid colors for $1.00 each.

Thank you for all the tips - I think to save money and space we're going to do the travel mugs, welcome letter, and hopefully one more item that everyone can use. The suggestions were so great though - thanks to everyone who has already done this - makes it so much easier for the rest of us!
