I'm sorry to hear about the equipment getting stolen, but at least you managed to get the cash value of the goods back, just a shame you had to kick up a fuss about it!

I can't believe they repaid the cost of the lost cameras. There are many stories out there of people who had things stolen at resorts and I have NEVER heard of them being compensated. Although in this case the resort was more to blame seeing as guests are told to leave their bags outside for the bellmen to organize and bring to your room (but I recommend keeping the most valuable items, such as cameras, money and rings, laptop with you).

GREAT review!!! Thanks so much for posting. You've got me even more excited for my own wedding at Dreams Tulum. Your husband's wedding outfit is almost identical to the one my FI just bought. I think he's going to look great!

What was your communication like with Landy (or any of the other coordinators) before your wedding trip? I haven't sent too many emails yet (a few here and there, but nothing major) because many of the brides have said not to worry and that things will be well-organized once you meet with the wedding coordinator on the second day after arrival. Sometimes I worry that I'm being too laid-back and I won't get as great of service if I don't speak up now and make myself more known to the coordinators. Does that make any sense?

Ok this may be a really silly question but Ame during your reception you didnt have to worry about alcoholic beverages, right? The wait staff were there for you and your guests i.e. you didnt have to worry about running to the nearest bar
