If I remember correctly Desires stays open until 12 or 1 in the morning. The bars in PA are all outside and are very small. There are a few that are bigger but not by much. Desires is a very cool bar and I am sure your party will be fine in there.

I am so happy to see that someone has started this! I have my wedding booked for June 24, 2009 at Dreams Puerto Aventuras as well!

I have not done much with planning since sending out save the dates because things got really crazy with work and the holidays. I have so many questions for Jacy that I am waiting for her to get back on!

I'll start with, what are you all doing for rehersal dinner? THANKS!

I believe I read on the Dreams Tulum thread that the resort provides votives on the tables at reception. Does anyone know if that is the case at Dreams PA or do we need to bring our own. I assume if they are provided; that they are just plain clear glass votives, which I suppose is fine too. Thinking about using some rose petals around the centerpiece and candles, anyway.

Hi Monica, I don't have the direct email for the resort photographer. When I asked Jacy she gave me the name Missael Moreno (I think I am spelling it right) and she sent me the sample that I posted a page or two back. She did not give me any information to contact him/her directly and I could not find any info when I google the name. She sent this before the resort opened and said that was the photographer they used when it was a Sunscape resort and that it could change when they opened as Dreams. I don't know if it changed because I have not asked since I am bringing my own photographer. With so little to go on about the resort photographer I just decided to get my own since pictures are so important to me.

I read through all the posts since this thread has started....what was the final verdict in terms of outside photographers? Had to be a non-Mexican? Is yours someone you know? How much did you pay if you do not mind me asking (if it is not someone you know!)? And how did you find them? Photos are really important to me to and Jacyhas not been able to answer my questions re: photographer. Thanks for your help!
