We aren't really in the mood for celebrating, had a tough year, so hadn't planned on doing anything, just spending it together in the house with a wee drinky....i'm on antibiotics now for my wisdom teeth so can't have a drink now! Doesn't bother me much, not a big drinker, neither is h2b...but he has said now he won't have a drink either, i feel rotten because he is only doing that because i'm not! but hey, means there shouldn't be soreheads on the 1st in our house! cheesy.gif

mrs d to be you should get the sparkling grape juice. That's what i'll be drinking with on NYE since i'm prego now. We did have plans to go to a small family party where we would eat and play board games but that got canceled. So me and dh are staying home and toasting with grape juice with our wedding flutes that we didnt get a chance to use. We were afraid to bring them to Punta Cana with us.

DH just told me earlier this morning that he had to work. (He is a bar manager/bartender) - so whatever. Yes I'm bummed. SO I am going to have my daughters friend spend the night. If it's not too windy we will roast marshmallows on the fire pit, watch movies, eat some other obnoxious crap and they can pop some left over 4th of July poppers.

That's it for us. We usually go to a great steakhouse on New Years day for lunch, so that's what we'll be doing.

FI has to work (overnight 11-7) so a friend and I are driving to Jersey to visit our friend that lives there...we will probably just hang out at her place and maybe go to a local bar with her boyfriends friends...but no real plans...kinda lame i know...

BUT the best part is that on new years day i am taking them out to lunch to ask them to be bridesmaids :) so its not a completely lame trip...
