Noah Has Arrived! A Few Pictures to Share!

Hey girlies!

I finally have a few minutes to sit down and post some pictures of Noah.

Noah was born last Tuesday, October 28th. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. and was 21 inches long. A lot smaller than the doctor thought based on my last sonogram. He was predicted to be somewhere around 8 lbs, 11 oz.

I had a scheduled c-section because he was supposed to be too big for my pelvic cavity. My hopes of having a natural birth went out the window along with my pride...but, that's okay.

Noah was so far up, two nurses had to push him down right below the upper part of my ribs and the doctor had to use forceps to get him out. He was born with a bruise near his eye/temple on the right side of his face. He is gone now, but I felt so bad for him.

I hope I don't jinx myself, but Noah is a very good baby! He sleeps for 3-4 hours and wakes up to eat and to be changed then sometimes he stays awake for an hour or so and sometimes he just falls right back to sleep.

The only time he gets upset is when he wakes up and has to wait for a bottle. He definitely gets MAD when he is hungry and can't eat right away....EXACTLY like his mama!

He has a LOT of dark hair and that makes me happy since I had massive heartburn the entire pregnancy (even though that's supposed to be an old wives tale).

He was born with a slight case of jaundice, but we are putting him to sun bathe by a window everyday. In fact, he is next to me in his bassinett "sunbathing" right now.

I think I hurt Jay's feelings yesterday because I told him that I never thought I could love someone as much as I love Noah. All you mothers out there will totally get what I am saying....the love I have for my son is so much different than the love I have for my husband. Unconditional love is amazing.

Anyhow...I am sure I bored everyone with all that info, so here are a few pictures!

Oh and he has my round face and small nose and has Jay's big ears and small eyes. I loooooooove him! Oh and he loves to be swaddled, he can't sleep unless he is swaddled!

Notice the darn stitches on Jay's cheek from his mishap the night before! His cheek was so swollen!

OMG, Martha! He is so precious! I have been looking for this update all week and was hoping you would post before Wednesday when Hannah gets here! I am so happy for you and Jay! I hope you are feeling well! Congrats!!!

Awwww Martha what a little angel! Sorry you couldn't do it naturally but you got a cutie pie kid out of the deal! LOL Congrats

YAY! have been waiting all week for an update...so glad everyone is home safe and sound and big congrats on being a momma! i'm at work so i can't see noah's pics, but i'll check in from home tonight (i hear he's a looker!!!)
