August 2009 brides

I already knew who was coming, and who wasn't before I did the invites. I did them anyway, cause I know if I hadn't I would have regretted it later. I think it makes the guests feel more invited too.

This is what I've done so far:

1) Booked ceremony and reception location

2) Sent out STDs

3) Booked photographer

4) Booked hair/makeup

5) Went dress shopping today! Super exciting!

6) In the process of booking my florist

7) In the process of booking my furniture/stereo equipment rentals

And, I booked our flights yesterday! Yippy!!!!

Here's a question for you August girls.. I was talking to one of my vendors and he was very surprised that I was having my wedding reception outside. He said that August Mexico weather would be 100F even at night and it would be really uncomfortable for my guests.. I've seen a lot of brides on this forum get married in August but I don't want my guests to be dying from the heat.. What are you girls doing for your reception?

I am getting married on August 1, 2009. This is what I have done so far:

booked room at hotel

reserved wedding date and put deposit down.

bought dress

booked AHR and pd deposit

bought all favors

booked photographer

booked caterer

Hello fellow August 2009 brides!

I will be getting married on August 19, and thus far have:

- booked the chapel for the ceremony and paid the deposit (Wynn)

- booked the restaurant for our reception/celebration dinner (Boa)

- booked my make up artist

- picked out my wedding dress

I feel so behind after reading what everyone else has done already!!
