This entire forum is wonderful, I have spend the last few hours searching through it more and have found so much wonderful information and advice. Reading all of it and looking through everyone's reviews is making more optimistic that everything will be perfect at the resort soon. Thanks everyone!

I agree on the shoes. Even a pair of flip flops that he can put on just for that at the end...

Does anyone have any pictures of flowers, other than the file that they(the resort) send you with some pictures? I REALLY want orchids but I am worried that they won't really be available. Let me know if anyone has ideas or information about what you can/cannot get. Thanks a ton!

By the way... I'm still keeping everything crossed that the resort opens soon and no one else's weddings will get moved!

Well, IF you get married at DT, you can get options. But... apparently they are pretty expensive. If your budget allows, it is definately something they can do for you.

Yeah I've heard Orchids are very expensive in Mexico.

Some of the flowers I remember Landy and the florist recommending were roses, lilies and gerbers. They come in a variety of colors.

why not look at what's in the picture file, but then thing about how you can change the style or mix and match different types of flowers, but using the same flowers shown there (the ones I recognize are roses, lilies, callas and alstroemaria) You know for sure they have those and that they the basic flower price.
