Is an ivory dress ok with a white shirt?

I am freaking out! I got my dress and I love it. The thing is I am one of those matchy-matchy people. I am wondering if I wear ivory can my FI wear a white shirt. We got his outfit already. As for the ivory with white...I think it would be ok. If you have his & yours you could just put them together to see what kind of a difference there is. I guess it depends on how ivory & how white!!

sure! Why not! Menswearhouse has off-white shirts if you are obsessed with matching, but otherwise I think it is fine.

Hot dress! the back is gorgeous... well anyway I'm a matchy matchy person too and when i bought my white dress i ordered fi's shirt which i thought was white. When we got it in the mail i realized it was cream. I didnt think it would look right so i got him a new shirt. Looking back on it now, i think it would be okay and i was just being anal.
