"beachy" music

I too love that song "better together" I dunno something about it. I know it's really popular though, not too sure if that changes your mind.

I'm walking down to somewhere over the rainbow too and am having the same problem with the recessional song. I was on itunes last night looking for beachy music and I think we decided that we're going to play mexican music while people are coming to the gazebo and being seated. I still need a recessional song.

Nice thread Tara. Somewhere over the Rainbow is our processional as well. I can't find a recessional though! FI keeps shooting them all down, but we want something celebratory and "beachy." I have searched tons of reggae music.

You girls should PM Jamy (starchild) she emailed me some beachy songs and we're using one of them for our recessional.. I'm not sure what it's called but it's perfect! I'll look when i get home tonight

Jamy or anyone else - I would love to hear some suggestions to walk down the aisle to (recessional - the song at the end). I'm also getting married on the beach (Jamaica). Let me know if you have any idea's - thanks!

One that I haven't seen mentioned yet is my favourite Bob Marley, Is This Love. It's upbeat, it's fun, and it's all about love.

I love that "is this love" one of my friends did it and it was really cute!

We're using Stevie Wonder "Ribbon in the Sky" for my intro, then Robin Thicke "Lost Without You" during the ceremony...just played very low since its such a breathy song anyway, I don't think it will disturb anything and I love it. Then, for the kiss and recessional we're going to use Lauren Hill's version of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You". Sorta upbeat, and cute...and it just seemed to click when I thought about it.

Still need a song for the rest of the bridal party's entrance though. hmm...

Love Ribbon in the Sky! A friend used all Stevie songs at her wedding a few years back, it was nice.
