How did you give your WC 'instructions'?

Recommended Posts

Today is exactly 3 months or 90 days from my wedding - homestretch!!!!

So, I am getting all my decor and timing together - how did you communicate this to the WC?

Excel spreadsheet?

Powerpoint slides?

Pictures?

Word Doc?

Does anyone have any of these WC instructions 'day of' kind of things they would be willing to share with me or all of us?

Thanks Girls!

Alyssa

LOL! :)

All throughout, I've emailed her, called her, sent her pics, pdf pics, etc. We had two site visits so I even brought stuff with me to show her what I liked and how I wanted th set up to be. She has a good idea of what I want. The day of I think she knows what I'm going for and if not I will tell her straight up, That is great/not so good/etc! :)

^^ What is KWIM? I am so lost! LOL.
Hmm... maybe a spreadsheet/word doc is the best way to go so you can give it to him and then def go over it with him when you get there so he is clear on exactly what it is that you want. It will be perfect.
You have lovely hair, btw. :)

KWIM...Know what I mean?

That took me forever to find out what it meant and if it wasn't for Tammy B. I still wouldn't know. LOL.

ok alyssa i know you are intense like me... here's what im doing to make sure everything goes right...

3 days before i leave, i am sending her an email with every photo and every detail outlined that we discussed. with specific instructions (in spanish for my planner so its easier for her), and then i am also printing out everything in color and putting it in a little binder for her which i will give her when i arrive on the wednesday before my wedding. i figure this way it will be safe, she will have it via email and in person to look at, and then i will go over everything in the binder with her so we are clear and in case she has any questions for me... other than that, my FMIL is going to be up her ass to make sure nothing goes wrong, so between me and FMIL, i think we're set ;-)

ooooh and i forgot to add, there will be photos of each person in the family and the bridal party so she doesnt forget who is who so she knows them by the time they arrive. i am even including the details for the ceremony that includes the other vendors and our priest so she is aware of a min-by-min play of whats supposed to go down, so that if anything seems to not be going according to plan she can do what she needs to do to make it work
