Oh and the answer is yes Martha you should continue posting in the Grand Bahia thread b/c this way when someone does a search on "Grand Bahia" they will be directed to that thread and find all the info they need.

I know on some forums moderators can close threads so no one can add anything new. So if someone posted "has has anyone ever heard of boarding pass invitations?" and someone has already posted a suggestion to use the search bar, the thread could then be closed so no one posts any thing else. I've noticed that sometimes when people ask a question for the 100th time, a few people will direct them to the search bar, but then others (who are not as sick of that question) will continue to answer it.

Are moderators able to close threads on this forum?

Morgan - yes we are, and that's not a bad idea.

I love that idea. I get frustrated when I direct people on and others continue to say the same things but in a different post. Am I a forum snob?!

Yes Stephanie, you are a forum snob! j/k! I think many of the "elders" (as I once put it before) have the same frustrations!

Glenda, Thanks so much for starting this thread!! HOPEFULLY we will all see the impact of it soon, I know the search issues have been a huge deal lately! I know we are all guilty of not searching a few times during our membership but now that the board is growing so fast lately, it is really important ti get this under control! Thanks again!
