PhotoSouvernir and Dreams Issue

worst case scenario maybe you can go with the resort photographer or another one for the wedding day, and book photosouvenir for a trash the dress session somewhere off the resort?

i read on another forum that Dreams is also having an issue with another photographer (severinphoto). After I saw her pics, which were unbelievable!!, I emailed her for availability. She replied stating Dreams had banished her because she doesn't PAY THEM as much as the current photog does! I think we need to plan a revolt -- we can't let these small-minded extortionists dictate what pics we are forced to look at for the rest of our lives. I've asked her to find out who the owner is, because obviously management are the villains here. I'll post updates as I get them.

I presume that Dreams will know/recognize the Photosouvenir staff?

I only ask, b/c our photogs, who flew in from the US, stayed at a neighboring resort and just walked down the beach and met us for the rehearsal dinner, wedding and day-after sessions and didn't have a problem -- and didn't have to go through the lobby/pay for day passes/etc.

Just a thought but it's risky if they know who the photogs are.

I just left yesterday PPC and meet with severine yesterday. You shouldn't have a problem. She stated that its fixed and it shouldn't be a problem.

PS... They are great photographers and video people. Very impressed

I would advise getting everything in writing!

Severine also emailed me and told me that the issue has been resolved!! I hope there wont be anymore hiccups along the way. I am waiting (still) to hear from Dreams.

Hopefully everything has been worked out and stays that way. I would get it in writing from the resort though, so that once you are down there, they won't turn around and say 'No, sorry. They aren't allowed here" Then you have something to go back on. At least they are working out their differences for everyone that is going down there and wanting to use both their services!
