Sarah - is it possible that you have PMS? I know this might sound silly but I totally gain right before my period because I'm all bloated. Another possibility - have you recently increased salt in your diet (ie started eating more frozen or canned meals? Or perhaps adding extra salt to not super tasty low-cal food? Just a thought...

I can honestly say that, that does not sound like your FI thinks your fat. He's a man. You asked him a direct question "is it possible to lose 20 pounds in x amount of time" and he gave you a typical man answer "yes, it is possible but it will be hard." He is not saying "I think you need to lose 20 pounds" he is saying "YOU are saying you want to lose 20 pounds so I am just answering your question on whether it is possible because I am tired of having this same conversation over and over again" (OK, that last one might be me projecting my own conversations on you guys but I think this is pretty common)

Yari - You know how I feel about WW. It's the best! You have really been working hard and doing great - do not punish yourself! I am happy you are back to WW because it is a sensible and long-term way to eat. I also feel very frustrated but we will do this together, ok? smile03.gif

So I weighed in and I actually lost instead of gained! Freaky. I think I'm down 1.2 but I don't really remember what last week's number was. I am guessing it's cause I was bloated last week and also cause even though I ate a ton over the weekend I also hiked a lot... that my guess!

 

But I feel happy!

Yay Kash! See no one should quit (unless they become ill or pregnant)! We need to stick together. There will be ups and a lot of downs but its a lifelong commitment not a short term goal. We can do this together! smile159.gif

 

Ok that being said I totally ate like a fat boy this week. I actually ate two pepperoni slices yesterday and had a coke. Hello...not healthy! I also had ice cream on sunday and saturday. Not a smart move. And I think I ate about 50 bowls of turkey chilli this weekend. Somehow I didn't gain but I only lost .3 pounds. So that's what I get for stuffing my face.

 

But today is a new week and we just have to stay focused! We are at the halfway mark.

 

I'm actually looking forward to season 2 b/c I know a lot of other members want to join and let's face it I need way more time to drop the amount I want to drop.
