1st attempt Luminaries

I think they look good bigger, the design stands out more. They are really cute! I made mine this weekend, I will try to learn how to post pictures so I can show you all how they turned out!

Crazy question, where are you buying the labels and are printing them or having them done professionally?

I loked the smaller but maybe do them slightly bigger and lower the placement.

thanks everyone for your feedback. The reason I made them bigger was because they are going to be in the sand and I wanted people to be able to read them. I'm going to keep playing around with them and see what looks better.

I ended up using vellum and printing a rose motif on it for my roses. You really can't see it in the pictures at all. Only if you are close and in person. Don't stress over it. They really look great. In hind sight Iwould have used brighter colors and made the design larger. So larger is probably THE best.

I love them Natalie, I like the bigger ones better or cutting the bag down and making the first ones a little bigger. I feel like I've done nothing so far!

Did anyone ever try the clear labels? I still want to do that instead of vellum? My caterer and I just decided to do the cocktail reception outside and so I think I might need these now.

So I am one of the few but I really like them larger. Also while this IS more work try cutting a square out of the bag and adhereing the vellum to the inside... kind of a stained glass effect/more translucent.

Do you plan on using both monogrammed and blank bags? I have the same logo

Also, someone mentioned having bags printed. A knottie , can't remember tried this route and it turned out fine. I think it has to be fed into the printer one by one however.
