That is so cute!! I was recently looking at my grandparents wedding photos too! My Nan wore something very similiar to your grandma too!

My grandparents got married in London during the Blitz (Nan was britsh, grandpa was a canadian farm boy), Nan said that on her walk to the Hall she passed a couple of houses who were bombed to bits the night before (can you imagine?)

anyways thanks for sharing! I love seeing old pictures like that :)

Haha yes my Grandpa is tech-savvy!

I emailed him to ask him what year that was and this was his response:

"Jaime: The year was a banner year—1953 (January 25). We just celebrated our 55th. (How about that bride's figure!). Grandpa"

I love this picture!!!!- this gave me an idea- I have been thinking on how to honor our grandparents-- all of the FI's grandparents have died, and I only have one living and she is in an Alzeheimer's home-- I think I will try and get a copy of each of their wedding pictures and have them set up somewhere.... maybe at one of the tables at the reception--- does this sound creepy or something that would be nice? feedback.gif
