Love my MOH! (Dress shopping story)

My MOH was in town so we went dress shopping yesterday - tried on about 10 dresses (I want tea length, so selection is limited). I found two that I like real well, but I have others that I want to try on that the shop didn't carry.

The funny thing was that I never thought I wanted a veil. MOH was a little shocked - how could I not want a veil?! So while I was on the little platformy thing in one of the dresses I really liked, she had the consultant bring me a veil.

Turns out you add a veil a white dress and you get all teary-eyed. It was great. MOH looks at me, wipes her cheek, hands me a tissue and says, "now will you just accept that I know you better than you do and add a veil to your budget?"

that's so sweet! i din't want a veil at first, but when i tried one on i finally felt like a bride.

how cute! first few times i tried on veils because my stepmom and one of my two best friends made me, i freaked. so i'm pretty sure a veil is def. not for me. i should get my sister (MOH) to go out looking for one when my dress comes in, she's definitely the more fashionable of the two of us and she always knows what will look good on me before i do.

as a side note, rebecca, you're my BDW twin! what do you have done so far?

I agree when I tried on the veil, it all hit me and I felt like a bride.

Aww... that is so fun! My mom actually did the same thing to me... I was against wearing a veil but she convinced me to try one on... who would have guessed how much a veil can complete the look!
